Alright all, bear with me as I tip-toe my way into femininity, inching towards unambiguously woman. I feel like that Star Trek episode where they secretly relocate refugees without telling them their planet blew up by creating a virtual environment they slowly slowly transform into the new home they found for them. That's a complicated analogy but I stand by it.

 

It's my first tunic! Apparently that's what they're called, something that's too long to be a shirt but too short to be even a cheeky dress! I'd only ever heard of tunics in Star Trek; and it makes sense, because their dress uniforms are totally tunics. SO SOFT, SO PURPLE, SO TIE-DYED.

 

Also, don't you just love the first few minutes after a hair towel where you look like you're from the 80s in a good way?

 

Final thought: that tuft in the front used to be a Superman curl. It naturally twisted on my forehead, and I went with it. Now it curls around my nose. I could brush it away, but I do like looking a tiny bit cheeky.

 

My beloved is doing alright with my inching forward, so far. I haven't dared a dress in front of her yet. Nor the amazing wine-coloured stockings I bought. I'll need a mid-length skirt to enjoy those....
