I couldn't even get hired by the military, during a buildup, after being told I excelled in the tests at the recruiters.  Matrix

I think it's great you landed that job Maddee, it came at a time when it really helped.

I'm still there.  Despite being sabotaged much if the time by the supervisors making assignments,  I earned a new position.  More responsibilities ut the same pay.  And they changed my hire date, taking away four months of seniority, which is big at a place with this turnover.  Potential landlords are turning me down because I'm not working there long enough.  No # at amazon for anyone to explain when I started.

My car is old.  Just missed hitting my second deer.  If the car goes so does my transition.  No time most days.

I'm off today.  My cat is sick.  Watching vid about jewish french resistance in WW2

Maddie, i know several folks who work at Amazon.  I know it can be a difficult place to work.  Hopefully in the itv will unionize so that better protections are put in place.

I've done way too much deer "hunting" with cars over the years.  The last one i hit actually didn't do any damage to the car!  At other times i haven't been so lucky.  There is a deer crossing sign on the farm warning others but folks still hit them.  We have way too many in this area and too few hunters anymore.

I don't follow news.  Heard something like if amazon workers unionize, theyll just shut the facility down and build a new one down the road.  Our building pays less than most of the other ones.  Morale is low, supervisors quit weekly without notice, and everyone thats lleft is run at 200% everyday

There's alot of hunters this way.  Bow season starts Sept, guns in Nov.  Rest of the year is car season :(.

The last deer was HUGE and just missed me.

Would like a shorter commute to work.  You'd think someone else would hire a hard worker with perfect attendance, but that has not been my experience in this life.  It's why I usually worked for myself.

WW2 was hell.  Watching about it makes me glad for my day

@Maddee you are an amazing and resilient young woman and I have faith in you. Your attitude is inspiring. You get an obstacle you dust yourself off and give it right back. Good for you.

Well yesterday didn't work like I wanted to. I met a guy and started talking and he was wanting to be in a relationship. I asked my kids on how they thought of me dating a man and they said gross and said no. I guess it's time to look for women. I think that is going to be harder. Oh well I guess.

This topic reminds me of the lyrics to the Beatles song, "A Little Help From My Friends."   "What do you see when you turn out the lights?"   "I can't tell you but I know it's mine."   Carolyn Marie

@Ivy have you read the actual document?   Has anyone else out there read it?
    • Abigail Genevieve
I am reading the Project 2025 document https://www.project2025.org/policy/   This will take some time.  I read the forward and I want to read it again later.   I read some criticism of it outside here and I will be looking for it in the light of what has been posted here and there.  Some of the criticism is bosh.   @MaeBe have you read the actual document?

      *older, not holder, oops :P

      No problem!

Old topic, but I gotta say my favorites are: "Stop hitting on minors" (doesn't work if you're holder tho) and "Sure as [squid] not you"

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Congratulations Lorelei! Yes, it is a powerful feeling to have the documents that say "you are you".

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).
