Less... probably... after a while. We're all different. Changes don't happen overnight. Your genes might include hairy legs. For example, my spouse shaves once a week, her hair growth has always been kind of spare. I don't shave at all because alopecia shut down all my hair follicles about twelve years ago. She's been through menopause so my hormone levels are probably higher than hers.

My mother for contrast used to shave a couple of times a week.

My niece shaves a couple of times a week and is still a bit on the hairy side.

It's going to trend towards being finer and growing slower, but there are too many variables to be able to tell you something like, "Once a month, tops."

Of course you could also pursue electrolysis and never have to deal with it again after however many sessions (I have no idea how thick your leg and body hair might be).

HRT is amazing but, tragically, it's not magic.

Hugs!

I'm three months on hormones today. I can't comment on leg hair munch any longer. As I've been using a eliptor, or waxing them regularly for almost two years. I do notice less growth, and it is slower. Not sure if its the waxing or the hormones.

My chest hair is definitely coming in slower between shavings. It also seems less dense, and their might be less. My chess hair looked like it was in the shape of a x. I noticed there was less on my breast, and the middle definitely was less dense. When I shaved it today.

Well, unfortunately there is a reason many trans women opt for laser hair removal and electrolysis. I've had laser on my face and body and it has helped a lot. Hair response to hrt is highly variable.

I agree , it is a pity

yet I would ask is it better to wax body part before home appliance of laser or IPL or Shaving ?

Shaving does some time leave some hair threads  ..

You should not use waxing/plucking/epilation for a couple of weeks before using IPL or laser. Shaving is not only desired but recommended.

Thank you for the advice

My one data point: I'm of middle eastern descent, so coarse, thick, black body hair. Weird thing is, most of it disappeared entirely. Didn't get finer, and in fact what's left is just as coarse as ever. There's just a lot less of it. The arms look awkward, so I shave them. Almost all the hair on my legs below mid thigh is gone entirely, except for some stragglers around the knees. Belly and chest hair went away, too, with just a few stragglers. For some reason I never did have back hair, except at the small of my back, and that hair is still there and has to be shaved. Face, of course, had to be zapped.

Hi. I’m new to the forum. I’m still getting the hang of things, but I shaved full body for almost 15 years. I recently took ** So hey, we don't talk about herbal treatments here. Rule #14 **  and my daily shave was reduced to every other to every three days.

Last year I switched to HRT and I’m at the 11 month mark now. Magically, a few months ago my body hair stopped growing and it’s been divine. There is some fuzz around the knees, but that’s it. I haven’t shaved in over a month, and tbh the last three times I shaved, I really didn’t have to. It was just out of habit that I did.

I'm kind of thinking now would be a good time to blast away with my IPL, since the hairs are so fine. But, maybe the hair color might factor-in.

Regardless, being totally hair free is wonderful. Now, if I could just get rid of my beard.

Welcome to the forum.  Obviously we do not condone self medication of any kind so I'm glad to read you've stopped.   Going on HRT will provide the benefits you desire as you've seen.  As your hair is fine now you might wait to see how it goes.  Time to start Electrology!

This topic reminds me of the lyrics to the Beatles song, "A Little Help From My Friends."   "What do you see when you turn out the lights?"   "I can't tell you but I know it's mine."   Carolyn Marie

@Ivy have you read the actual document?   Has anyone else out there read it?
    • Abigail Genevieve
I am reading the Project 2025 document https://www.project2025.org/policy/   This will take some time.  I read the forward and I want to read it again later.   I read some criticism of it outside here and I will be looking for it in the light of what has been posted here and there.  Some of the criticism is bosh.   @MaeBe have you read the actual document?

      *older, not holder, oops :P

      No problem!

Old topic, but I gotta say my favorites are: "Stop hitting on minors" (doesn't work if you're holder tho) and "Sure as [squid] not you"

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Congratulations Lorelei! Yes, it is a powerful feeling to have the documents that say "you are you".

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).

I will have arrived when I have a b*tch certificate of my own.  I think someone called me one once.

That’s fantastic Lorelei. I’m so happy for you.   Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
