Interesting article, thanks Jandi! I like his comments about how acceptance would make the world a better place.

 

 

“We know who we are,” Page says. “People cling to these firm ideas [about gender] because it makes people feel safe. But if we could just celebrate all the wonderful complexities of people, the world would be such a better place.”

 

 

A point he talked about that I don't understand about myself yet is: Why do I feel better, more at peace with myself when I assume the dress & secondary sex attributes of my femme? I know how I feel in my soul, yet even in private it is comforting. For some, primary sex attributes as well. I might find more in another post. I'll keep looking.

I love that quote, Delcina!  I was just saying this to my wife tonight . "I know who I am and what I am now .. I am a human being who is just a little bit different .. "  Nothing is more important than that.
