Well I wasn't planning on going full time for a while now, but hormones, my current job, and other plans. Have bumped every thing up. Which is all okay. I knew my transition was fluid, and could change.

I'm just excited to have a interview. At a job where I can be my self. I've actually met a few of the workers last week as a customer, and they didn't care. They treated me like any other woman.

That sounds like good news! Congratulations!

Being just one of the girls is fantastic. Well, I find it fantastic anyway. I hope you will as well.

Hugs!

When I was in there last week. I told them I applied, and was hoping to work with them soon. They seemed really excited.

Sorta related to being seen as a woman. I was getting my nails done today, and as she was doing them. We were talking about my facial hair removal, and the pain of electrolysis. She laughed, and said I don't know why you guys want to become a woman its painful. She doesn't hate trans people fyi. She then went on a tiny rant about getting her legs and underarms waxed. Which she knows I do. She then was like I wish I could be a man, and just let it go. I then joked I don't think your husband would like that, and she was like nope. She was also jealous of how slender, and womanly my hands look, and joked a nice ring would look beautiful here as she was holding my left hand.

Well she's not wrong, but it's more painful to keep pretending to be a dude, y'know?

I'm starting take two of my new job next week so good luck to both of us!

I miss certain aspects of my male life, but the positives don't out weight the negatives. A positive I miss about being a man. Going to a barber for a last minute hair cut, and finding one. Ive been looking all afternoon for a hairdresser that can get me in Monday before my interview. Just to style it as im clueless in that department, and mine is in Florida till next week. Yea, welcome to womanhood.

Good luck on your job also.

Well I got the job.

That's GREAT Lauren it's not so much what you do as WHO you do it with!

I took a part time job last fall, my son and daughter-in-law work there as well, and while I suspect everybody KNOWS how much I enjoy "the feminine side" - due friendly jokes and laughs - still find that I am very well respected & liked!

I'm excited for you Lauren.  I often fantasize about working as a woman but I'm not sure I'd go any farther than just dreaming about it.  I am serious about finding volunteer work as Sally though, and I am hunting for the right opportunity.

Well…  My ex never shaved, and I always liked it.  Furry pits are kinda sexy.

I also have a daughter who doesn't - but she is a bit radical LOL

To be fair she works in the beauty industry. Even though it just is nails. She dose have to appear a certain way, and with me now working at a womans clothing store. I have to appear at least some what put together my self.

Thanks ladies. I am so happy about this.

It's just life.   We do what we have to to get along in this world.

Thanks. Its a step I wasn't planning on taking yet, but it had to happen. Hopefully the next 8 months all go to plan, and ill be full-time by the end of year now vs next year at this time.

Well yesterday didn't work like I wanted to. I met a guy and started talking and he was wanting to be in a relationship. I asked my kids on how they thought of me dating a man and they said gross and said no. I guess it's time to look for women. I think that is going to be harder. Oh well I guess.

This topic reminds me of the lyrics to the Beatles song, "A Little Help From My Friends."   "What do you see when you turn out the lights?"   "I can't tell you but I know it's mine."   Carolyn Marie

@Ivy have you read the actual document?   Has anyone else out there read it?
    • Abigail Genevieve
I am reading the Project 2025 document https://www.project2025.org/policy/   This will take some time.  I read the forward and I want to read it again later.   I read some criticism of it outside here and I will be looking for it in the light of what has been posted here and there.  Some of the criticism is bosh.   @MaeBe have you read the actual document?

      *older, not holder, oops :P

      No problem!

Old topic, but I gotta say my favorites are: "Stop hitting on minors" (doesn't work if you're holder tho) and "Sure as [squid] not you"

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Congratulations Lorelei! Yes, it is a powerful feeling to have the documents that say "you are you".

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).
