A day of postives.

I wasn't really sure where to post this, so I'll post it here. 

 

Some of you know I got my first job as Lauren. Well today was my first day. I did my makeup the best I could, and dressed as good as I could, and went to work. 

 

So I get to work, and I'm greeted by a few new co-workers. That I knew through my hiring process, and called me by Lauren. As we are checking me in. A older couple come walking in probably 60, and the husband walks up to my boss and I, and said excuse me ladies. Do you have a husband chair? I was so shocked I got called a lady. Its definitely not the first time, but it is has Lauren. 

 

After we delt with him. We went to the backroom to do paper work, and my boss asked who did my eye make-up. I told her I did, and she loved it. After my shift was over. I got to met a few new other co-workers, and they didn't bat a eye, and treated me like a person. I have never left a job happy before. Well I have, but that was because I was glad the day was over. 

 

At this point in my life. I'm so glad I took the gamble on my self, and decided to transition. I have never been this happy in my life.

Thanks ladies. I was getting my nails done this morning. My nail lady, and I were talking about this, and I got even better news from her.

 

Before my interview a couple of weeks ago. I stopped in to get a final approval check from her. I wasn't wearing a mask because it was a simple in and out. I get in, and she her handyman sitting there. I didn't care as I had bigger fish to fry. She tells me today that he thought I was a woman, so I must be doing to some ok.

To be fair. I'm literally two weeks in to proper woman hood, so I'm not use to it yet.
