President Biden has our back.

This is really great, especially getting that statement during a joint session of Congress (formerly known as the State of the Union?).  But my question to him would be, great, but what can you do, Mr. President, to keep the R-run states from stabbing us in that same back?

Thanks for posting this, Davie.

*sigh* Read up on "Agenda 2030".  One can do away with those "autonomous states",  freedom of speech, ability to defend oneself against excessive authoritarian force, one can do away with "property rights", personal privacy and freedom of choice entirely by, in part, creating a totally cashless society where your "social score" will be scrutinized and judged accordingly . .

Just like Communist China, in conjunction with it's controlled "capitalist" industry, is doing so today! Sorry, cannot believe people can be so naive, you can ban or erase me if you like 'cause when "unity" discussion becomes pointless another "cold war" is the only thing that's "inevitable" (Russia again?) . . .  Biden's "shadow gov't" is using YOU, just like every other "repressed minority", to be merely "socially out" in cementing own Global Political POWER!

You talk 'bout our "trans youth". Are they signed up for the next draft? Women will serve too, like in Israel. Or will we just "go nuclear", avoid the "human fodder" problem altogether?

Then read Ron Paul's 2011 "Liberty Defined"

(50 Essential Issues That Affect Our Freedoms)

The definition of liberty I use is the same one that was accepted by Thomas Jefferson and his generation. It is the understanding derived from the great freedom tradition, for Jefferson himself took his understanding from John Locke (1632–1704). I use the term “liberal” without irony or contempt, for the liberal tradition in the true sense, dating from the late Middle Ages until the early part of the twentieth century, was devoted to freeing society from the shackles of the state.

My apologies in advance! I 'ave otherwise swore off any political discussion don't even watch "the news" anymore, very much AVOID getting uselessly UPSET! (just tried to answer your "q")

Signed: A "trans child" (BA in "History") who was lucky enough to only watch the Vietnam War on TV!

Rest assured that no one is going to ban or erase you. You have every right to express your opinions. Others may disagree but any replies need to be done is a respectful manner.  Anyone expressing negativity toward you personally or any other member for that matter will be facing discipline.

It is wonderful to have the support  that the Biden administration is capable of providing.  It is a complete change in federal attitude.  Unfortunately there are some who now want to make us an issue that simply should not exist.  I doubt any legislation will be fully successful unless it is embraced by even more of the  country.  Hopefully as more are able to be known in their own localities, as the "normal" people we are, acceptance will grow.

Quite frankly, I wouldn't trust ANY politician to keep their word and actually do what they say they will do.

You are 100% correct@Charlizethe "politicians & churches" need to stay out, "get a grip", concentrate on own 'issues' instead?  Getting the key support we need has never been easier as "official gate keeping", unlike in the U.K, has become almost non-existent!

I live in a very conservative area where pharmacy, employer, it's customers and "friends of family" acceptance has been fantastic . . . 'cept for 21-year-old son (to be expected?) lol my daughter-in-law (and "ex") even help with nails, hair and makeup!

Am thankful for ALL here, and especially "Southern Polite Society", where every mistaken "ma'am" (the mask & hat helps?) is greatly appreciated!

I bought lots of crap that got thrown away soon after purchase. Took me ages to work out my size as my top half is four sizes bigger than my bottom half. Its the broad shoulders you see   (But lovely legs though haha). I'm guessing my first item that I enjoyed wearing and looked / felt good were some skinny Jeans. I never cross-dressed before explaining / accepting my mental state and exploring the idea of being Trans with my wife.

It's interesting to read this. Apart from the stuffed animals I have the only thing I can think of is my deliberate cultivation of a childlike attitude to learning such that I can learn and accept new ideas more readily; ie I try to avoid blinkered views and similar restrictions which often come with age. In that I have no age bias and fear of appearing childish (in the keeping up appearances sense).   Your last comments on baby talk do remind me of an advert for sweets / candy over here currently which has two policemen in a police car dubbed with childrens voices. People tend to love or hate it. I tend to mimic them and similar but more my sense of humour though.   Tracy

It's pretty clear that Republican state governments don't fear, or even take notice of, the Biden administration's policies. It looks like the Republican State governments feel they have to move quick while they still have a 6-3 scotus conservative majority until the Dems pack the courts (within the next year probably) to even things up a bit.

Totally relate. I was locked up in a psychoward ran by Mormons when I was 12-17 years old...sex was used as currency. ...Feel kinda lucky some days that I didn't really know I was being raped. ...Other days I just feel sick and wanna blow my brains out. ...Most days though, I just want....revenge. I guess I kinda had an epiphany one day: I'm not the one who deserves to die. ...Neither are you.  Hang in there. This too shall pass. *big hugz*

Kimber, I agree with Jackie, your parents were very accepting and supportive. Especially given that society was so different and so much less accepting back 25 years ago. Your parents loved the real YOU so much. It is a wonderful story.   Life would’ve been so much easier for many of us here if our parents could embrace our real identities. I am so glad yours embraced and accepted you so unconditionally. It sounds like an amazing experience.   I’m so sorry to hear that you had lost two siblings within a year back then. That must have been such a difficult period of your life. I can’t even imagine experiencing that kind of loss in such a short time period. We all have different crosses to bear. No journey through life is an easy one.   *Hugs* Susan R🌷

This is a one of your colors Linda Marie. Your dress really looks nice with the shoes too. Hard to match outfits that close without a large collection. You can NEVER have too many pairs.😉

I don’t wanna go back to a mental hospital. That place still terrifies me. Even more bad memories.

Mostly just the erotic variety that involved a boy being forcibly feminized then diapered and treated like a baby girl lmao. I'm a freak lol. =P

If you are having this bad a time, it may be necessary for you to go to a hospital or an urgent care provider and see if they can provide you with some medication to help your anxiety about the memories.  You may have to cut your vacation short to deal with this, or maybe it is the vacation environment triggering you.  Please go and get some professional help before you feel compelled to hurt yourself.

Looking lovely LM. Kaltia Bras are a constant problem with me too. Lacey bras are so pretty but the lace chaffs my skin. Sport bras I wear a lot just because the seem to hold everything in place just fine. My nice bras I save for special occasions.

I can’t stop remembering. I’m on vacation. I need to relax. I want it to stop. I can’t forget about what he did. I keep trying to make myself forget with things like overdosing, but it doesn’t work anymore. The memories are so loud. I don’t know how to stop this.
