Hey! Long time no see! I got an HRT problem I am unsure about, so I am back now! LOL XD

Okay. Here's what's up. my estradiol and spiro were prescribed three months ago on February 1st; I've refilled them a couple times since then with no issue, but now I have an issue lol.

I have maybe a couple dozen of the little blue pills left and only ONE of the yellow oval pills left. The other day, my doc's assistant or whatever told me she was going to renew them, so I didn't worry about it until today because I'm stupid lmao. I called Smith's Pharmacy and the robot lady ended up telling me no refills were ordered for that prescription, then asked me if I'd like to refill, to which I pressed 1 for yes, then she told me that prescription has no refills remaining. I then tried calling the women's health clinic, but they're closed today; they don't open until 8 AM on Tuesday; three doses after I NEED them to be open lmao.

...Soooo I'm going to be completely out of spironolactone after tonight, and it doesn't look like I'll be able to get anymore until Tuesday at the absolute earliest, (I also have a check up at the clinic on Thursday).

Sooo...-what the heck- am I supposed to do? 😆

Should I take the estradiol tomorrow WITHOUT the spironolactone? Or is that dangerous? Should I skip everything on Monday instead? But the bottle says not to stop taking it all of a sudden or skip doses! HEEELLLLPPP!!!

Maybe I'm overreacting, but being autistic, I am a VERY literal person who's a little obsessive when it comes to following instructions to the letter and kinda drives me nuts when I find myself in situations where it's literally impossible for me to follow orders. 😶

....I miss firefighting lmao. I was like...BUILT for that lol. XD

Although not an M.D. or PharmD. my E was prescribed by itself many months before the Spiro ever got into me for a test drive, and then it was because another diuretic I had been on was crashing another chemical.  My Endo at the time had not prescribed it.  I had been doing well and on track without it.  Call the Pharmacist and not a robo secretary to ease your thoughts but you should be fine.

It takes time for our bodies to adjust to starting or stopping hormone treatment.  You should certainly call you pharmacist and speak to a person on Monday as Vicky suggests but i would not be unduly worried.

Go to your pharmacist and explain the situation. Mine will usually sell me a week that way.

Then call your endo and make sure you talk to a warm body, so they can get their butt on it.

The order in which you do those two things is up to you. I don't know what's still open in your area, but I'm guessing your endo will have to wait until tomorrow. The trick is getting it attended to as soon as possible.

That said, yeah, a day isn't going to make a difference. When I went off HRT for my surgery, life didn't start to suck until about two weeks in. Try to avoid that. I don't recommend the hot flashes.

I take estradiol and no spiro or any T blockers.  So I don't guess it would hurt you for a couple days if it comes to that.

Thanks everyone for the feedback!

Fortunately I got a text later on from Smith's saying my prescription had been filled and was already there lol. I hadn't heard anything from though until the last minute; I was expecting like a day's heads up lol. Usually I call and have it refilled a day or two before I'll be out.

Glad to know it should be fine though if ever there is some kind of mix up lol. XD

It's interesting to read this. Apart from the stuffed animals I have the only thing I can think of is my deliberate cultivation of a childlike attitude to learning such that I can learn and accept new ideas more readily; ie I try to avoid blinkered views and similar restrictions which often come with age. In that I have no age bias and fear of appearing childish (in the keeping up appearances sense).   Your last comments on baby talk do remind me of an advert for sweets / candy over here currently which has two policemen in a police car dubbed with childrens voices. People tend to love or hate it. I tend to mimic them and similar but more my sense of humour though.   Tracy

It's pretty clear that Republican state governments don't fear, or even take notice of, the Biden administration's policies. It looks like the Republican State governments feel they have to move quick while they still have a 6-3 scotus conservative majority until the Dems pack the courts (within the next year probably) to even things up a bit.

Totally relate. I was locked up in a psychoward ran by Mormons when I was 12-17 years old...sex was used as currency. ...Feel kinda lucky some days that I didn't really know I was being raped. ...Other days I just feel sick and wanna blow my brains out. ...Most days though, I just want....revenge. I guess I kinda had an epiphany one day: I'm not the one who deserves to die. ...Neither are you.  Hang in there. This too shall pass. *big hugz*

Kimber, I agree with Jackie, your parents were very accepting and supportive. Especially given that society was so different and so much less accepting back 25 years ago. Your parents loved the real YOU so much. It is a wonderful story.   Life would’ve been so much easier for many of us here if our parents could embrace our real identities. I am so glad yours embraced and accepted you so unconditionally. It sounds like an amazing experience.   I’m so sorry to hear that you had lost two siblings within a year back then. That must have been such a difficult period of your life. I can’t even imagine experiencing that kind of loss in such a short time period. We all have different crosses to bear. No journey through life is an easy one.   *Hugs* Susan R🌷

This is a one of your colors Linda Marie. Your dress really looks nice with the shoes too. Hard to match outfits that close without a large collection. You can NEVER have too many pairs.😉

I don’t wanna go back to a mental hospital. That place still terrifies me. Even more bad memories.

Mostly just the erotic variety that involved a boy being forcibly feminized then diapered and treated like a baby girl lmao. I'm a freak lol. =P

If you are having this bad a time, it may be necessary for you to go to a hospital or an urgent care provider and see if they can provide you with some medication to help your anxiety about the memories.  You may have to cut your vacation short to deal with this, or maybe it is the vacation environment triggering you.  Please go and get some professional help before you feel compelled to hurt yourself.

Looking lovely LM. Kaltia Bras are a constant problem with me too. Lacey bras are so pretty but the lace chaffs my skin. Sport bras I wear a lot just because the seem to hold everything in place just fine. My nice bras I save for special occasions.

I can’t stop remembering. I’m on vacation. I need to relax. I want it to stop. I can’t forget about what he did. I keep trying to make myself forget with things like overdosing, but it doesn’t work anymore. The memories are so loud. I don’t know how to stop this.

If I remember correctly, I was told trying to diet in a manner where you lose ten pounds then gain ten pounds then lose ten pounds again will help fat redistribution occur much more quickly; been meaning to try this out.
