Stefi is coming out

Came out to my 3 sisters and my 2 sons. Still need to with my 2 brothers and 2 daughters. Got great response from all who I have talked with.  2 of my sisters opened their home to me so my wife can have some reflection time. Been here since Saturday and am going home tomorrow. They have been great support for me and are spoiling their their new found sister. I have never been this complete in my whole life. I am getting ready for bed soon in my new black and pink jammies. Have my nails done and a whole bunch of new clothes.

I still am hoping my wife will start to accept who I am. I am hoping my remaining siblings and children. I think most of them will be ok.

Congratulations, Stefi!  I am glad it went well.  Having family support is so valuable.

I hope everything continues to work out well for you Steffi and that your wife finds acceptance.

It's wonderful to hear that you have so much family support, Stefi.  It's important and it makes the journey so much easier.  Hopefully your wife will adapt and accept.  it takes time.  It took my wife most of a year to fully embrace my new self.  So, yes, patience is important, as well as open communication and compassion.  Best wishes.

Almost done coming out with immediate family. Have talked with all siblings except my brother (he is on vacation in California) and my "baby" Daughter (23 yrs old) who is out of town visiting her in-laws. All positive reaction from them. I will talk to those 2 as soon as they get back in town. My wife seems to be settling down also. One big hurdle with her is me starting HRT. She is adamant that I do not do HRT and this may stop all progress we have achieved.

I am at my sisters for the next few days being Stefi and loving it. Next project is finding a temporary hair style as my hair grows out. I still need more clothes and plan on doing more shopping this week. A girl can never have enough clothes.

Stefi is out of closet(more room for clothes now). I have spoke with all of my immediate family(children, siblings and their families). I got tons of support from all except my wife, who is still in denial.

HRT time---Starting today. Patch is on order and ready to pick up at Walgreens today. YEAH. I am very excited..

My wife was also really nervous about losing me when I start HRT. She's afraid of losing the man she married. I told her that just because I told her a new thing about me, it doesn't change that I've always been what I am and I loved her the whole time. Let her know that you're the same person and that you'll always be, regardless of what you look like.

      No problem!

Old topic, but I gotta say my favorites are: "Stop hitting on minors" (doesn't work if you're holder tho) and "Sure as [squid] not you"

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Congratulations Lorelei! Yes, it is a powerful feeling to have the documents that say "you are you".

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).

I will have arrived when I have a b*tch certificate of my own.  I think someone called me one once.

Good morning everyone,   It’s Thursday well as least I took my Thursday Medications as sorted out in my weekly dispensary caddy. Today’s coffee is Folgers Breakfast Blend served HOT, black and strong. My wife and I are going to explore the Western and Southern coasts of Saginaw Bay and hang out in Bay City, MI. today.    @Willowonce @Abigail Genevievepointed out the word usage in your post. I read it and laughed, enjoying the snarky tone of the comment. Since it was spelled correctly I thought maybe you meant for it to read just as you typed it. Then the kinder gentler me thought it would be better if I changed it. I’m not saying I corrected it, I just changed the severity of the sentence.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
