Nice to see a Republican on the right side of a trans issue.  We need to see more such actions.

Not all republicans are signing on to the hate on lies of the far right.  Hopefully in time these rational humans will regain control of their party.

...I've only ever voted Republican...but many Republicans instantly accuse me of being a liberal snowflake based on my gender lol. ...Thinking of voting Libertarian in 2024. I've always been more of a Libertarian than a Republican, but voting Libertarian always sounded like it would be throwing my vote away...and if MOST Libertarians feel that way, then no wonder the party seems so small...I can't just have the attitude of, "well when Libertarians start voting Libertarian, I'll start voting Libertarian too." Progress will never be made that way. You'll just end up with a bunch of Republican politicians who are secretly Libertarians lol. 🤭

Fortunately I live in one of the Red States which also voted against getting rid of transgender healthcare protections under Medicaid. I probably wouldn't be transitioning now if we hadn't. 🙁

But yeah...I like to think most people are innately good, and want to do the right thing. Red, blue, gold; doesn't matter. 😊
