Testosterone in Alabama

I've been trying to find info on how a prescription of T would be affected in Alabama, cause T is registered as a controlled substance and this could really impact me being able to get it in the future. I'm an adult now, and ideally I'd like to start seriously looking at getting T (gel or patches) in 2-4 years. But Alabama is notorious for its laws about trans healthcare, so I don't have my hopes very high at all.

I also keep hearing stories of trans people going without their hormones for a few weeks because of either the pharmacy or even their insurance rejecting it. If this keeps going the way it's going, I might not be able to get T and I'm scared.

Sol, there is nothing I could find online that indicates that HRT (testosterone) is not available for adult trans folk in Alabama.  The new felony statute applies only to trans youth.  Since testosterone (or the lack thereof) is a factor in many conditions, I can't imagine that you couldn't get a prescription for it.
