Has anyone seen the documenty Lady Valor, The Kristin Beck story?

I just finished it. I was good. She is a retired Navy Seal. She talks about a lot of topics that hits us all. acceptance and life as a trans person in general.  I highly recommend it.

Yes, Kristin aka “Chief Beck” is very nice, supportive, and approachable. I got to meet her in Syracuse, NY and drink several beers with her. Since then we’ve had lengthy text, and email conversation about transition and relationship experiences. Her Twitter, Facebook, and IG accounts are open for respectful conversation. She will eventually reply to your inquiries. 

Have you watched Disclosure with Laverne Cox or Transformer with Janae Marie Kroc?

Yes I have seen it.  Some years ago I read the book about her.  I liked the book too, although that was apparently released without her complete authorization

 

Shows  how difficult and long  transition can take for acceptance,  even with someone like her, for whom one would think respect would be guaranteed
