Breast Forms Compared to your new natural breast

I'm a crossdresser for two years, pretty much full time at home. I love my breast forms, 4 pairs of different sizes. My question is, how do you breast feel after they start growing from HRT?

Very tender!  If you bump them they give you a start

Yeah, I was gonna say: Sore.

I mean, they're lovely and it feels RIGHT to have them, but it doesn't take a lot to make me yelp because you hit them wrong.

Hugs!

Development occurs with irregular periods of growth, rest, then resuming growth (and not necessarily symmetrically in both breasts) over several years.  I'll be at 3 years on HRT in three weeks.  Last year, i thought the nipple area was sensitive, but recently they've been a lot more sensitive!  With growth comes other breast sensations, like bouncing when you drive over a bump or descend stairs.  I long since stopped rolling over on my stomach in bed.

But for me, the clear benefit from HRT hasn't been body changes as much as mental improvement!  I'm much less stressed these days.  At my last checkup at my gender clinic, my doctor said my T and E levels were in the range of a typical cisgender woman (when not on her period).  No wonder I am much happier watching Say Yes to the Dress than action movies 💃

Cheers,

Astrid

If you wear breast forms and start HRT, the forms will go up on a shelf in your closet in 3 to 6 months because it will hurt to wear them.  Swinging and revolving doors become fierce enemies about that time, and pets will cause you grief for about the next 3 years if they climb on you.  Driving will become an uncomfortable adventure on winding mountain roads.  The list goes on.  At 2 years along I went through a period where my nipples were so ticklish that I cried putting on a pullover sweater.  Later, it was 24/7 erotic sensations  for a few months that was worse than the Ticklish.  At 13 years being a breast owner, I have had 7 mammograms, and one cancer scare with a biopsy hole punched in one breast followed by the worst three days of worry as they read the biopsy tissue, which thankfully was benign intrusive tissue.  Life is full of adventure even with B cups, but I would not have had it any other way.

Four years so far, but who's counting?

For me breast forms were hard to keep in place initially.  Then as my natural breasts started growing, the combination was too big. Now with only a small amount of real breast growth, I’m considering implants.  My insurance will cover them, but I can’t find a doctor within my state willing.  Well, not entirely true, I found one but they want $11,000 up front and I deal with insurance.

I can vouch for everything already said above.  Especially the pets thing. Both my cats are a major threat to me any time I am in bed.  😺

I can add one oddity that was temporary, (lasting only a month or so):  that rush of tingly energy that accompanies the Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response that I experience quite often.  (look up ASMR if you are not familiar).  After I'd been on hormones for around six to eight weeks this rush of tingly energy would finish its run at my nipples giving me a powerful electrical shock feeling there.  I honestly felt that if I took a video in a dark room I'd see bolts of lightning shooting out from my nipples.  It was a wild sensation that was just a half step below pain, very intense.  Sometimes I would look forward to it, other times I would dread it.

I am thinking about what some of you said in this thread: that growth comes at irregular periods with seeming lack of activity in between.  Makes me wonder what else will be in store for me 😬

Be advised...I think some of my experiences might seem crazy to some people. Maybe my experiences are rare or just confusing to most trans people.  I think this is due to my being autistic.  My nervous system has non-standard wiring in many places, making my experience of our shared reality unique to me.  It'll be interesting to hear if any others have experienced this electric ASMR glitch too.

On that note, I straight up told my therapist that I wanted HRT. THAT led to an appointment with Michigan Medicine (you need a note from a psychologist for HRT here, Michigan isn't an informed consent state). In some informed consent states you can just walk into a Planned Parenthood office and say, "Hey, I'd like HRT," then you sign some forms and you're on your way.

Anyway, after my second psychologist signed off on it there was blood screening with my endo and about a month into THAT (and a few harassment calls from my therapist) HRT happened. You need to be proactive.

Wow, the responses were quite informative.

Personally, I never wanted my breasts, they just grew in my teens.

I don't remember much about how that felt back then because it has been decades ago, but my last growing spree that started a little over a year ago has been quite the adventure.

Soreness and sensitivity, don't pinch a nipple while sleeping (ouch), and I hate speed bumps. Of course, the speed bumps have been a problem for years already.

Wear proper support, an underwire if over a C cup will keep you from getting neck and back pain. Padded bras are a must in cold weather, and that is even if you are not growing.

Corn starch to keep the girls dry so you don't get heat rashes, especially underneath during the day and in the cleavage area at night. For goodness's sake do not bump into something, the girls will let you know!

Jogging is a major problem, and either a good bra or compression top will keep the nips from chaffing. If the nipples are chaffed use "bag balm" on them.

That's all I can think of adding

It's kinda weird how these people are so worked up over making these laws.  They would have no effect on cis people either way.  Yet they are the ones with the obsession.  They ought to just stay out of trans people's business.

Bean burritos are still popular in my family.   Black eyed peas are the one legume I'm not fond of.  I need to add lots of onions. And of course always cook your pintoes with fat-meat.  And for y'all yankees, navy beans with a big ol' ham bone are hard to beat.

Seek out community, not just online but in person if possible. Making trans friends is a pretty quick and easy way to gauge if you have much in common with them.

It certainly could be classed as dark humor.  Unfortunately the sentiments alone must hurt young trans folks.  Decency and reality doesn't seem to be in the GOP's vocabulary.   Hugs,   Charlize

Good morning all,    It’s a frosty morning here the lawn looks silvery, and the uncovered spring flowers have icy edges on their leaves. The only flower bed I covered was my tulips. As nice as it is here during the day, our clear wind free nights allow the temperatures to drop into the mid twenties. Here in our growing zone it’s recommended that you not plant delicate plants until Mother’s Day. Central Indiana can have snow as late as the third week of May. The birds are active at the feeders, I’ve had my cup of yoghurt and morning meds. So I’ll sit here, drink coffee and watch the as the sunrise chases the frost from the yard.    @awkward-yet-sweet I could eat black eyed peas as a side for every meal. Boil them plain or with fatback. Served as a leftover, just add in a little Rotel Original Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilies.  Make the best of your day,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Had a weird dream last night.

Morning, y'all. Evening here; we had the regulation three mugs full today. Now it's time to drink something else.     No big plans here either, eldest daughter and granddaughter will be arriving on Saturday, and we will have our granddaughter to ourselves for a week after that. We still have plans though. Tuesday we'll go to the swim center, Wednesday we'll take a road trip to visit my mom, Thursday we'll get some mulch delivered to top up the gardens.   I still make other small plans on a daily basis though. The things I do plan nowadays, which is a bit new for me, is that after pinching a nerve and ending up in a bit of pain and getting some treatment from the physio, I am more motivated than ever to exercise more regularly. Tuesday for example, I went for a short (15 minute) early morning walk, went to the pool for some hydrotherapy, and mowed the lawns. Yesterday I did my exercise reps and spent some time on the exercise bike. Today, I went for a 45-minute walk, tomorrow I will do my reps again and go for a long bike ride. As long as I do at least one thing every day, right? The pleasing thing is that I'm losing weight! I blew out to above 95kg early in the year and I'm just under 91kg now. Yay me!

What one piece of advice would you give to beginning transitioners or considering transition?
    • Heather Shay
Positive side of the mixed bag.

Boredom is an emotional state that comes when a person has nothing to do, and is not interested in anything. To stop boredom, most people do something to occupy or amuse themselves. The first known use of the word boredom is in the novel Bleak House by Charles Dickens, written in 1852, but the saying to be a bore had been used to mean "to be tiresome or dull" since 1768. When referring to the mind, boredom is a bad state in which the person feels a deep lack of interest in what is going on around them, and where it is hard to focus.
