Speak to your Primary Care Physician.  There are medications that can arrest Male Pattern Baldness but they need medical supervision.  They are not HRT as we speak of it here, but do affect how your T works in your body.  There are patent nostrums that claim to do that for you but they fall under our umbrella of herbal self medication which we do not allow to be discussed here.

Like @VickySGVsaid, there are all kinds of medications, both OTC and prescription, that can treat hair loss, although nothing I'm aware of can completely prevent male pattern baldness.  You can research which ones are most effective.  There are also surgical & cosmetic treatments, which are probably costly.  Good luck!

While my daughter is on blockers and has started on estrogen, she is taking biotin and I message her scalp every day.  Been doing both for nearly three years, she has a full head of her now to her lower back, however she is only 15.  Our goal is when she gets older, she has a full head of very feminine long hair and I am fine doing this for another few years. She is also able to message it on her own.

I'm using biotin but it isn't doing much for me.  My hair seems to be stuck at shoulder length.  I'm sure my age has a lot to do with it.  Maybe I should start doing the scalp massage as well and see how that works for me.

Hi LaurenA, I am maybe a little slow on the uptake, but how does biotin affect the hormone tests? I have just started with HRT and was wondering if there was anything for my thinning hair. I hadn't considered that these products might have an impact.

@_Kira_ I discovered that using biotin causes the estrogen levels to appear much higher that they actually are.  My doctor has me stop taking it a week before any blood test.

Thank you for bring this up, I will bring it up to her doctor. My point is that it's really helped along with the scalp message.  She has the hair density of cisgender with thick hair and it's so important to address it now before she gets older.
