Crossdressing service in London

Hi all. Look, I don't know if this is a predominantly USA site. I'm a 64 year old Londoner. I wasn't a young crossdresser, but for no apparent reason in my early twenties I had a weird urge to put on lipstick. I can remember the feeling to this day. As you do, I pursued this new feeling, and as a single man this developed into my acquisition of some female underwear, dresses/skirts etc., high heels, makeup and even a wig. Not so easy before the days of online shopping! I'm heterosexual, no desire to transition, just found the whole thing a real turn on. Felt guilty about these feelings of course. Anybody like to suggest the origin of such thoughts? But life moves on, I got married, kids etc., and dumped all my clothes and stuff. I'm not consumed on a daily basis but as I get older I'd love to revisit these old feelings, and I can afford to spend a few quid if someone could recommend a discreet London service that would dress me and make me up. My wife and know daughters are off on holiday later this year (I don't fly) and I'm getting to the age where I deserve a bit of pampering so why not? Thanks in advance.

We are reasonably international here on the site and English is our language for posting.  I am in California USA but our site owner is British and so are a couple of our moderators.  It is 7:30 PM to me and you are about 8 hours earlier than I am.  Which means our normal members from your location are two to three hours from being on to answer you.  I would suggest looking up an LGBTQ Community Center near you, since their members would know of such places.  You fit the CD mold and are welcome here.

Welcome to Trans Pulse, Chris.  I am sure that places in the U.K., probably more than one in the London metro area, perform the functions you seek.  We have a couple of great ones in both L.A. and Las Vegas, that do the whole thing, including escort you singly or in a group all glammed up and ready for "showtime!"  London and other major cities must have similar.

Enjoy the time you spend here, and please do participate as much as you'd like.

Hi Chris :)

For the obvious reason that I am much further north than you I am not familiar with the London scene but there will be groups down there who will know. It may be worth contacting one of the local transexual support groups. They should be discreet and point you in the right direction, as Vicky says.

Locally I have gone my own way as I am in much more rural area and anything local to me is some 40 to 50 miles away in one of the larger cities.

Hi Chris.

Back in the summer I plucked up the courage to have my first makeover.  One of my therapist’s clients recommended a service in London. It was all I hoped for, allowing me to express myself as I would want to be.  The service is provided by Jodie Lynn who has been doing it for over twenty years.  She is a delightful lady who is very sympathetic to our needs, and is based in the Docklands area, not a million miles from Canary Wharf.  Online, look for https://theboudoironline.com/ .

I took all my own clothes but she has a large wardrobe and all the accessories. I can thoroughly recommend her.

Whilst we cannot recommend any specific business as we don't do adverts as such, if you search for "Crossdressing Service UK" in Google or DuckDuckGo you'll get a selection based in such places as London, Brighton and even Huddersfield. 😉

I visited Jodie Lynn and Boys Will Be Girls on one splurge visit to London, and had a better visit at BWBG. Jodie was nice but maybe it was a bad day for her but felt like she was giving me a half baked experience. Cindy at BWBG was amazing in every way.

Thanks Carolyn. Look. it's been 35 years! Not sure I'm ready for a glammed up trip into the city. Just a skilled and understanding practitioner who can put me at ease and make me feel feminine for a couple of hours without me feeling ridiculous.

Thanks Karen. Had a look at the website. That looks exactly the sort of thing I'm looking for. After 35 years I hope they treat me gently!

Thank you all for your welcoming responses.

Look it's been 35 years since I dabbled in crossdressing, in what I'm sure was a clumsy and unskilled fashion. In the intervening years I've got married, had two lovely daughters, and only thought about sliding into feminine attire occasionally. It certainly hasn't blighted my life. But it's interesting that the urge has never left me, and the thought that I might be able to spend a few quid having someone skilled in the art and more importantly sympathetic to my feelings fills me with great excitement. And trepidation. This has suddenly become once again a major focus of my existence. I am so excited to imagine being made up and dressed as a female. Personally I'm looking for a very understated, feminine, elegant look. Imagine M & S offering a transformation service! Will keep you informed of developments.

Hi Chris,

I had a three-hour session which gave me plenty of time for two outfits.  Jodie is well set up to take photos (on your own phone), and in that time she took 130!

Have fun.

Hi all. A slightly tentative Chris(sie) here again.

Thanks for your advice and support. I'm pretty sure I'll book a session at BWBG in June.

My imagination has been running away with me (strange as I thought I had none), and on top of the dressing service I've been fantasising about buying some clothes and makeup while my wife is away. I've put together a wish list on Amazon (it's just too damn convenient isn't it), and I reckon I can get a full outfit (dress, bra, stockings, high heels, maybe a suspender belt, a wig and a makeup kit for about £120 - £130. I'll need makeup remover and nail polish remover too. I've only selected items that can be delivered the next day. I'll have about a week to enjoy these acquisitions, then I'll have to dump them all.

Am I mad, or do I deserve a bit of pampering as I get a bit older? It may be my only opportunity, and with modern phones I'll have some nice videos to comfort me. What do you think?

https://www.nbcnews.com/nbc-out/out-news/several-attorneys-general-made-abusive-legal-demands-get-trans-patient-rcna147910     This is a complex issue and I'm no expert, but the actions of these GOP Attorney's General don't pass the smell test.  Their motivations and actions are highly suspect and they lack any credibility.  What else is new, right?  I guess it will all come out in the inevitable court fight.   Carolyn Marie

I went to work with my husband today.  He asked me this morning if I wanted to go...of course I said yes.  I enjoy being with him, and getting away from the house for a little while.  He spent half the day in his office, which I think is why he asked me along.  He made a nest in the corner for me, where I can plug in my laptop and do my stuff...nobody minds me being there.     But today ended up with a strange opportunity.  I had a conversation with my husband's boss, the company owner.  They want some basic graphic design work done, so I think they might hire me to do it.  Nothing fancy, not nearly as complicated as what I've attempted to do for our county.  So I have a meeting with them on Monday, just to look at some details and see if I can do the work they want.  And especially talk about when they need it done, because I still work pretty slowly.  I don't really need or want the money, but its nice to feel like I can do something again.

I went to WM today with the objective of buying sandals: they would be women's, but look like men's; they would be brown or black, not white.  I realized the cheapest way to go  was to go for flip-flops, which I observed were prevalent in the store. So I checked out the women's.  Flowers. White shiny straps. Nothing that could possibly be men's. The best deal was one flip flop for $3.98.  At first I thought that was a pair, then, nope.  And because I comparison shop (is there the same thing in men's?) I found the cheapest over there was $6.98 for a pair of flip flops in green that also match my women's cargo shorts that I love.  Doing the math, finding the pink tax.  Rip off.  I have found a blue tax this way, but usually they charge women more for something than they do men. I guess women tend to lose one flip flop at a time or something. Weird.  The pairs were a lot higher.   So, following my rule, but unhappy with it, I bought the green men's flip flops.  They were the cheapest.  Later wife of mine complimented how masculine I look in my matching shorts and flip-flops.  Inward groan. We have not discussed the Subject in a long time because I think she forgets it is there as soon as the conversation ends.  Or she is trying to talk me out of this.  Not sure.  We only discuss it when necessary, and how often do most couples discuss whether one spouse is one sex or the other? Outside of here, I mean.  So we very seldom talk about it and she is happier if she does not know about it. Super stealth.  I do the laundry and I shower in the shower in the wing away  from the master bed room so I have my own shower.

I'm very glad that everything worked out even better than you thought. It's a tough spot to be in and I know the exact feelings. I'm still waiting to apply for divorce under abandonment so I officially can meet someone who one day I can call someone my prince or my queen. Although the desire for someone is fading because of everything. it's even more amazing that she was your high school sweetheart! Looking forward to the next entry.

Awww thanks for listening everyone. I have another 5-6 songs in this style that I started recording at the same time, so hopefully I’ll finish the next release soon.   Yes, exactly. Everything was easier about this project, mainly because it felt authentic. The energy was very different, because it was such a pleasure to express myself without a filter. I laughed a lot.

Thanks for listening @Mmindy.   You’re welcome @April Marie. I think Sally Can’t Dance is an underrated album.

Well I had an interview with the local Ford Dealership for an opening in the parts dept. It sounded positive. I was told I would here by tomorrow morning.    Other than that just sticking around the house. I haven't done much, the weather is cold and yucky. Doesn't look like good weather till Sunday. Maybe tomorrow I'll fire up the heater in the garage and see about getting the other brake hose put on the Explorer.   Have a good rest of your day/evening.   Hugs, Kymmie
