Do Trans women undergo menstrual cycle (with out bleeding)

I wonder, nearing month end , my legs become heavier and feel pain in my lower abdomen. I'm very moody and emotional at that time. This lasts for about 4-5 days. Is this really a menstrual cycle or is it my Estrogen cycling through my body. Those who are HRT for quite some time have they experienced as such ?

I don't really have a cycle, but I know girls who do. Usually girls who take injections rather than pills, but not always. Secondly, cycles basically are physical and mental symptoms related to varying hormone levels in your body so... what's the difference?

Hugs!

There are times when my 34-months-postop genitals get painful instead of merely uncomfortable, for no apparent reason.  I haven't tried keeping track of when it happens.  Maybe I should.

Thanks , I'm on injections day one. I'm asked to do sub-cutaneous or muscle.I do dare to push one into my biggest muscle, Buttocks, so for paid off. When pushed in  is apparently painful, but my medicine is in a sesame oil vehicle rather than castor oil which makes less viscous.

Well, everybody has a hormonal cycle of some kind...even cis men.  Very different from a female cycle, but it exists.

My trans female friend has been on HRT simce youth, and she has a monthly mood cycle with some physical presentation as well.  And funny thing, her cycle has now synced up with mine and my female partners since she hangs out with us so much.

I get the the mental part also, and once and a while the swelling of breast. After a few months I started noticing the same effect about the same time, and while I have been in relationships with woman, and knew what happens. I never really put two and two together. Till I started asking friends about what I'm experiencing.

I get super in mood for a few days. Then followed by werid food cravings. Like pickles, spam, beef jerky, and gummy bears together. My friends say im a sweet and salty lady. I also noticed how I can express happiness to tears in minutes, and im way more on edge during that time.

I can’t say for sure if I’m experiencing a mental menstrual cycle each month but my wife sure seems to think so…LOL But seriously, there are times I believe I’m much more emotional than other times. There is a cycle of some sort. I’m on patches so it’s not likely due to surges or sudden drops in my E levels as patches deliver my hormones very evenly.  I don't recall this happening regularly Pre-HRT so there may be something to it.

Well, Happy Wednesday...  I am not terribly enthused about the stuff I have to do today. And it is gray and rainy outside.  GF's kids are driving me crazy 🙄   Thankfully, GF is on her way home. Finally. It has been almost 4 weeks. Hopefully she will stay around home for a while and make herself useful, instead of scampering off into her own little world right away.

Happy Birthday, @April Marie. Hope it is a great day for you.     Well start my training in my new job today. I have put down that my preferred name is Kym. Maybe I should have did Kymmie. For a more authenticity  but didn't want to push it. Not knowing if anyone there knows my wife.   Other than working on the wagon. My wife has me building a shed in the back yard. A place so I can get the lawn care stuff out of the garage. If the forecast holds, I won't be working on it. looking at light rain later today.   Kymmie

A calming thought can be a simple sentence or phrase that helps to reduce anxiety or stress by shifting your focus towards positivity or a sense of control. Examples include: "I am strong, calm, and stable," or "I've done hard things before. I can do it again," says Erica Layne.

Do you have a mantra that helps calm you?

With pressure from James mum, that she wanted children and James not wishing to tell his parents, up came a job in the United Arab Emirates he took up a job to repair military jets for the Saudi Gov He later got a job teaching others the skills that he had gained over the many years in the royal air force. My mum dad and sister loved james, he was a real romantic, we did the usual trying to keep in touch best we could but it was heart wrenching, he wanted to bank enough money for a house and sadly over time we drifted apart.

My average always seems to fluctuate between 55kg which is 121 pounds and 60 kg which is 132 pounds, mostly i worry alot and get stressed very easy, when we are on hormones we had a weight sheet, as normally Oestrogen tends to gain weight  Had a very hot long walk yesterday managed to do 4.8 miles and had plenty of offers from guys in cars wanting to borrow my portable fan!! still a lovely day despite the heat below some of the scenery which hugs the coast.   Tonight is a night out with friends our usual wednesday night out, i hope your day is bright and beautiful.
