What is your favorite thing about Spring?

For me it's the days getting warmer and less darkness.

Me, too, Heather. I also like to see the flowers blooming. Not much grass here, but the trees get their leaves back. That's nice too.

My favorite thing about Spring is the next generation of life. Flowers out to gather sunlight before the trees push out leafs. The young mammals that were born, in the winter dens of their parents. Calves are showing up in the pastures around the rural areas. Fawns will be here soon, as well. Spring is my favorite season of the year. The Dogwood is my favorite flower, and I take care of the one in my yard. It's buds are almost ready to pop.

Hugs,

Warmth.  I hate cold weather and heavy clothes.  And I like planting and doing outside stuff again.  And the return of soccer.

Lighter in layers of clothing, can go for longer walks, can eat outdoors comfortably, and the blooming plants.

It's the leaves when they start to develop from a bud to a small and then larger leaf. I miss them terribly when they go, and I am so happy to welcome them back and watch their magical growth in the early weeks.

I love the early flowers as the world wakes

I like the vibrant colors of spring.  I love all seasons.  I like the changing.  I'm putting my yard through a transition this year and look forward to it being nice and clean in the spring in a year or two.

For me, it's that everything is bursting into life again. Autumn and Spring are my favourite times of year. Both signify a change - dark to light, cold to warm, stillness and movement (or the other way around). It's just a joy to see the changes.

Ditto, ditto, to everything everyone has already said about spring. I could only wish spring would make up its mind here on the Front Range of the Rockies. Spring is teasing us: for 2-3 days it will be sunny and warm and in the high 60s, then for the next 2-3 days it will gusty and gray and in the low 30s. The forecaster on this morning's news advised us to enjoy this weekend while it lasted, because winter will be returning again early next week. LOL
