It is interesting to think about. His actions in sponsoring the bill and defrauding COVID funding align. The former, under the thin guise of morality, underscores a lust for power. The latter, blatant greed. Both, a lack of humanity - no concern for those harmed. Somehow, only the latter is deemed criminal. When one acts to amplify any such vice as lust or greed, it attracts a greater tendency to further vice. That said, it's interesting to note that Florida HB 1557 was filled by Harding in 2022, presumably after his fraudulent activities. One wonders, therfore, whether his formerly having gotten away with fraud empowered him to scapegoat/attack the LGBTQIA+ community in this way. But, perhaps he didn't require any encouraging.

There was money involved in the sponsorship of the DSG bill.  It was called a Campaign Contribution from one of the H8 bankroll organizations.  I had read which one in another source, but I just got up from a nap.
