Hello from the farm. I am 5 months on HRT and have undergone an bilateral orchidectomy. Haven't made any friends local and to shy to go to the "city" 50 miles away for their LGBTQ activities. I always knew I fit both definitions of masculine and feminine. My son called me Mommydaddy and we still have fun with it. My circle has diminished in size as friends have moved away and my children have grown up. Not sure of what I would be categorized as. I see and feel both genders within.  Have not found support outside the small circle that includes 2 children, an ex wife, and my best friend of 20 years. Since I have made the decision to transition my hormones, my life has become more peaceful and less reactive. I hope to finally get over my shyness and find a few friends locally. Until then I am just letting myself become who I have always been, just not hiding behind a lifestyle that others accept.

Welcome Imni! I can definitely understand about the circle. Since coming out as transgendered I lost almost all support. I have two sisters none of which that are local. Luckily I have an aunt that is able to help me out with my two boys ages 7 and 2. My current wife is leaving because she can't handle me as a woman. I remember growing up in the country like that. It took the bus driver an hour to get to school. I now live in the city and definitely prefer that because I'm very forgetful on what I need at Walmart lol. I also prefer where I live because I'm on the power grid of the hospital so if we lose power we'll get it really quick.
