Can someone tell me if there is any documentation for someone with Cancer and if they were able to start or continue with HRT?

Not sure about documentation, but a cohort of people exist who are put on hormone therapy to treat their cancer. For example, some AMAB folk who were diagnosed with prostate cancer and treated for it, either with surgery or radiation, often end up on t-blockers if the cancer recurs (happens in 30% of cases) to stall or slow the cancer growth for a while. It just so happens that hot flashes is the main side effect of this, and is most effectively treated with a low dose of estradiol. So, feminizing hormone therapy is obviously safe for those with prostate cancer otherwise it wouldn't be administered.

I had breast cancer in 1989 and had a lumpectomy because of it. I had just finished two years of testosterone treatments provided to me by a sports doctor. 

I have always wondered if the HRT was the cause of my cancer. 🤔

Thank you for your input.

I have Multiple Myeloma, I have been dealing with it for 17 years now. Tomorrow I have my first appointment  to speak with a Therapist about the whole transgender issue that I am going through. I just like to hear from someone whether I am ready for transition or not. Or, will my cancer have a factor or not. To see where it goes with the Therapist I will also be talking with my Oncologist.
