What is your favorite thing about Autumn?

I'm is the leaves bright colors and pleasant temperatures.

I have a bee allergy, so for me, it's definitely less bugs. if I can get to autumn without being stung, then I call that a success.

 

also I really enjoy the darker nights and halloween. it's only one day a year, but I really like to make the effort with it

My favorite thing is when, it Autumn, the squirrels turn brown and fall from the trees.

I Love the smells of Autumn. I live around a bunch of farms, and the straw, mixed with the cooler breezes leave such a nice scent in the air. I love the crispness of it.

Autumn aka Fall is my favorite season for a number of reasons.

 

The true colors of the leaves once photosynthesis stops. The animals preparing for winter by fattening up at the feeders. I don't feed the wild birds or squirrels during the Spring and Summer, because they have plenty to forage on. I love the cooler weather, and the clothing options it brings. I like sitting outside and not sweating.  I'm still a hunter so the fall seasons open up new meal options. Speaking of meals, Fall is the season for hearty soups, stews, and chili. Sitting by the fire pit in the evening listening to the migrating birds flying over, or settling down for an evening roost. Fresh air throughout the house because the windows are open and the air conditioner isn't required.

The night skies are clearer and star gazing is more fun. I'm also grateful that the mosquitos and other biting bugs are gone.

I absolutely love summer, and struggle with the darker days. But autumn brings some clear crisp clean air, a beautiful colour change to oranges and reddy browns, and for me, a chance to wear some soft warm pretty jumpers.

I love the changing colors of the leaves here in the northeast along with the crisp, cool night air. It just smells different. Clean, fresh. And, I get to pull out my sweaters and wool skirts!!

Yes.  Northeast US is scenic in the fall!   Wish I could stay longer this year

Couldn’t agree more. When the weather permits it, I enjoy taking drives around the area on the weekends. Love autumn colors. When I lived in Augusta, Maine as a preteen, the leaves were so beautiful in the Autumn I as I recall. The trees where we lived were very old and large. Most reached across the street making it feel like I was walking through tunnel of warm colored leaves.
