Not really new or surprising information to me.  So many platforms these days are not news or information sites, they are entertainment outlets.  Cole is a performer/ entertainer and not a victim of her own bad choices in life and she will not own her bad choices for her, they must be placed as a burden for others.  SIGH.  We have had others before (pronoun??) 's and will have them again before this is all over.  At least she has recouped the money she spent on whatever she had done to her.

OK, so she makes money.  I wouldn't blame her for that, and hopefully she's managed to recoup some of the damage done to her.  Actually, no amount of money will ever make up for what she's been through, or the physical harm it did to her body.

But, what does that money really say?  Her appearances in public make that kind of money because she's got something others don't.  A story others can't tell...because it doesn't happen very often.  So the money is a testimony to the rarity of what she's been through....its evidence that she was a victim of medical malpractice, rather than something that is widespread.

Politicians and media love to make a bit deal about "detransitioning". It's a headline that sells, and it sells for BIG money.

It's also very rare!

Maybe they should create news about those of us that were chemically or surgically modified just because we were born intersex.

I endured two years of testosterone treatments to "fix things" when there was basically nothing wrong with me. I was made just as God had intended complete with wide hips and breasts at puberty. You don't need to fix perfect.

I wish in "my case" I would have been surgically modified to be female, but I also understand how in other cases that might have been a mistake as well. Truthfully, if they would of had ultrasound back when I was born I would have been gendered female at birth. My doctor and parents wouldn't have decided I needed "fixing".

Children have been mutilated for decades all in the name of religion and "two gender boxes".

Where is their media coverage?

I can't say much about Cole's transition or detransition.  But it is paying off for her financially at this point.  I can't speak to her motivation, but if it's only financial, that's despicable.

What bothers me about her, is that regardless of whatever happened to her, she is working to deny the rights of the rest of us.

I never bought the whole thing about Cole. I suspect that she started the transition thinking it would solve all of her other issues, and when she found out that it did not, she detransitioned. Now that she is popular for slamming the rest of us, she is enjoying her 15 minutes of fame. I have zero respect for Cole. Yeah, I get the whole regret of mastectomy thing more than most would, but I doubt the veracity of her claims that she was forced into it.

Well, Happy Wednesday...  I am not terribly enthused about the stuff I have to do today. And it is gray and rainy outside.  GF's kids are driving me crazy 🙄   Thankfully, GF is on her way home. Finally. It has been almost 4 weeks. Hopefully she will stay around home for a while and make herself useful, instead of scampering off into her own little world right away.

Happy Birthday, @April Marie. Hope it is a great day for you.     Well start my training in my new job today. I have put down that my preferred name is Kym. Maybe I should have did Kymmie. For a more authenticity  but didn't want to push it. Not knowing if anyone there knows my wife.   Other than working on the wagon. My wife has me building a shed in the back yard. A place so I can get the lawn care stuff out of the garage. If the forecast holds, I won't be working on it. looking at light rain later today.   Kymmie

A calming thought can be a simple sentence or phrase that helps to reduce anxiety or stress by shifting your focus towards positivity or a sense of control. Examples include: "I am strong, calm, and stable," or "I've done hard things before. I can do it again," says Erica Layne.

Do you have a mantra that helps calm you?

With pressure from James mum, that she wanted children and James not wishing to tell his parents, up came a job in the United Arab Emirates he took up a job to repair military jets for the Saudi Gov He later got a job teaching others the skills that he had gained over the many years in the royal air force. My mum dad and sister loved james, he was a real romantic, we did the usual trying to keep in touch best we could but it was heart wrenching, he wanted to bank enough money for a house and sadly over time we drifted apart.

I call it the black bear. Working with my therapist and having the support of my wife has helped me keep it at bay. I have created some strategies that help me fight it off should I feel it coming around.
