Sharing My Inner Woman is My Go-To Therapy

Yesterday, I spent the day as Sally.  I shopped, did errands, and ate out.  After every outing I experience an overwhelming sense of contentment, and I know it's because I got the opportunity to share my inner woman with the rest of the world.  As I think most of you know, mine is a part-time trans lifestyle, which means my outings as Sally are extremely important to me.  In fact, they keep me happy and content.  I have never felt an overpowering desire to transition fully, but without the ability to express my feminine side in public, I know my part-time lifestyle would be lacking.  

 

I'm always amazed how much just a little time socializing as Sally makes me feel complete.  As social animals it's apparent we need personal interaction with others.  Sally, being her own person, needs that interaction the same way my male persona does.  Turns out that sharing my inner woman with others is incredibly therapeutic.

Sally, I totally understand how you feel, especially since you can only spend part time as her.  That would certainly make it special for me, in that circumstance.  I'm really happy for you, hon.

I totally understand that feeling, Sally. I wish I would have more opportunities to be out in public and interact with people. It gives me such a sense of wholeness when I can.
