Women Heels Size :)

I once thought I would be size 14 - 16 in women heels but I'm luckily only size 12-13 yay! :D Whats yours? (Don't have to tell if you don't want to)

In the movie white chicks, I got the idea of squeezing a smaller size from this:

Rich girl: What size are you? (for shoes)

Policeman undercover as a rich girl: Size 14......

Rich girl: "can u bring a size 10?" (to sale lady)

Policeman undercover as a rich girl: "A WHAT?!"

Rich girl: "its an open toed slide it gives u 2 sizes in the front and 2 in the back"

That gave me the idea of how to get into smaller shoe size so if I tried that I would be size 8 or 9 with opened toed heels :P

Do you have any tips or know somebody that have a good tips about shoes and sizes? ;)

I inherited my mom's feet which means mine are a size 8 but just a little too wide for size 8 heels. I've found that a 8.5 gives me the extra width without too much more length.

I had an impossible size to get in men's shoes - a 13AA.

But because my toes are a little short and my foot is narrow, I wear a 13 in women's shows as well.

Love ya,

I have the exact opposite problem from Sally. My feet have always been too small for men's shoes  (6 1/2). I usually

had to special order them.

So when I recently started wearing women's shoes, it was easy to find size 8.5 - 9. But I do have to find wide

or extra wide women's sizes, which still limits my selection in closed toed shoes. Open toed and strappy styles

are no problem.

Geez....

I'm 9-9/1/2 in male shoes, but my feet are wide...

So 10-11 in female shoes and I really need to get to a good shoe store and try some comfortable ones on...

And Carolyn....you are on lucky girl!

It's okay Dee Jay - I buy comfortable shoes.

Open toed and strappy and sandal shoes fit good in slightly smaller sizes. Higher heels (go figure) seem to be easier to wear in the smaller size shoes, I suppose because of the arching of the foot. But elastic banded back straps work very well.

The hardest to buy woman's shoe is the low heel pump or flat which is closed in.

The biggest discomfort - and women suffer this - is the eventual 'wedging' of the toes to the front in heels. So if you have wider feet - look out!

Also white shoes look huge, because of the color I guess.

And a 12W and a 13M seem the same for me (never said I had small feet).

-- suggestions for brown flats - size 10w or 11w. at Payless?

I am researching some flats from Payless Shoesource - I found there is one near my house. I like them - once you sort of start trying on the shoes they either help out or ignore you and act like everything is cool. Which I prefer at this stage. Anyway, has anyone bought any wide flats @ payless or have any suggestions? i'm sort of over the heels kick and need a pair of nice shoes for work/life. I'm thinking brown would be better for my wardrobe. Nice thing about Payless is you can try on the shoes! None of this mail order nonsense where things are so tight I rip them the moment I try them on.

It's fairly similar, be mindful of narrow toes if your feet are wide. If you find a narrow toe style try a size larger then you would usually wear and see if they fit. Be prepared to have to move on to other shoes though, because sometimes by the time you toes fit the shoe is too long. >.<

The open toe slide thing has it's limits. It may "fit" but it won't look right on your foot. I recently got a fantastic deal on a pair of Naturalizer sandals. I was absolutely thrilled until my wife said my feet looked like an elephant in a tutu :)

well, I just got back from Payless. I bought a pair of sensible black mary jane's, a black wedge w/ 1 1/2 heel with a round toe and a pair of coral wedges with the cork sole for $5. I had to stick with the round toe as the pointed toe really pinched. The saleswoman was a little taken aback but as I was the first customer of the days she didn't seem to mind. I was tempted not to go but I read the blog this morning and got more confidence. They had the store organized by size which REALLY helped. The downtown stores used to organize by style and you had to go down row after row looking for shoes above a 8 or 9. This place had about 30 pairs of 11's and 6-7 11w. i can fit into 11 but wide is a little more comfy. I also got some fun black/pink polka-dot knee high socks!

Question:

should my top match my shoes or just the belt? I got the coral wedges because 1. they're cute and 2. I like pinks, tangerine, tops.

SHOESSSS !!!! :D

Sorry, i had to :P i love the things !! Stillettos = possibly the best invention... everrrr !!!

hehe :) X

I don't know, Petal. I've talked to cisgendered women about high heels, and they swear they

were invented in the middle ages to torture women into confessing to being witches.

Yes, the look great, but oh, the pain!

Don't over do it. If you wear really high heels for too long you can do some serious damage to your feet. Remember all good things in moderation.

I came to this forum looking to see if anyone knew of a chart to determine womens shoe sizes from mens sizes. My feet are 9-9 1/2 mens as well, so you answered my question without a chart :P

That would still be a neat thing to have posted though, if anyone knows of such a thing.

Petal, I take a size 8 Male UK, and buy size 7 Female UK, as I find that if I but Female 8's they slip off to easily and a size smaller keeps them on better, and I also use heel grips. I only buy heels, so that works for me. Don't know your preferences, but try buying a cheap pair first and see if it works for you. Matalan are good for cheap shoes as they sell them off very cheap when they end the range. I'm loving shoes from Dorothy Perkins, as for me at least, they are very comfortable.

Hope this helps, I'm completely bamboozled by the sizes mentioned by our American sisters.

Does anyone know what a womens high heels shoe size is for a mens size 11 ??

I worked for Thom McAnns for two years as a assistant manager of an outlet.

The best way to find the true size you wear,is to go in the late afternoon or

early evening when your feet have settled for the day. This will give you your

Real size.Use the shoe scale provided that all shoe stores have, and measure

your feet on the ladies side.Easy and accurate and cuts out any costly mistakes.

I'm a 10.5 mens, so my first purchases were 12's, but they proved too big. I've bought all 11's since then. 11.5 would have been perfect, but I haven't seen half-sizes. Luckily, my feet are narrow for a male, if they were wider, the 11's would be too small.

Kat

I need either an 11.5 or 11W for womens sizes the second I can get in some styles from payless (www.paylessshoes.com) as far as half sizes go they have them in an even smaller range of styles. I think 12 would be too big for me but ive not found any on the rack there so I have no idea. There is a place in Albuquerque called Women's shoe wearhouse (its out by Cottonwood Mall ) Ive not been in there but its a huge place so they might have shoes for larger feet. If I can find a url for them I will post it.

Doesn't this belong over in the Humor Topic??  Grim humor I admit, but it has the dark humor picture of the folks protesting the Sacramento Sanctuary Laws.  If the world is going to end next week why are these people so concerned about someone staying fertile and able to have children??   Crazy.

Once again the opposition is telling scary, unfounded  baloney about what IS being done to any Trans Person.  The truth about the very little and very cautious treatments just will not sink into them because it will sink them.  They bully their own Cis children unmercifully to fit into their molds, and that is gruesome in itself. I am happy to say I know that Trans children and all Trans folks in the area have access to wonderful care based on what some of my former State colleagues who have Trans family members and fellow employees there in Sacramento keep telling me about.

good for you dear. my guess is soreness is good sign things are going on there. water them n hope. smiles   actually was speaking to someone other day n they said the growth leveled off after a few years  which coincided with a few years of very high stress..n then when the high stress resolved, she grew another cup size..

darling I completely agree. but it will need road testing I'd think.    and I recently asked a surgeon about an idea I had for easier recovery...do a zero depth 1st..recover then add a canal..he said NO. this surgery is hard enough on body to recover, do not do it any more than needed. also said penile inversion usually is sufficient n includes a few centimeters of perineum tissue anyway..so keep the perineum pull through as a reserve technique in case there is a problem with theb penile inversion.    hugs to any who want them

I can't tell from the article if being trans was part of the motivation for the crime, or whether it was simply incidental to it. Clearly at least one of the perpetrators was known to the victim, which seems to continue the pattern that the most dangerous people for us are often people we know.  😒

Beans, beans, the musical fruit...   But beans and rice make a complete protein, and a pretty cheap base for any sort of meal. Since two of my partners are Hispanic and one is Asian, we use a lot of rice. Plenty of beans too, although 90% of the time they are on the form of black-eyed peas. That crop grows really well in the South no matter how hot and dry it gets.  And the Native American trio of corn, beans, and squash is a classic.  Actually, those ingredients tend to show clearly whether kids were raised with a healthy diet or not. Kids raised eating those foods luke them. Kids raised without experiencing those foods tend to reject them immediately. Rather strange.

I feel a little better about going outside. I got my EpiPen just in case of an emergency. Today was rough started euphoric and then depression hit real hard and I don't even know what it was about. It just happened. I want to see a bright future but it turns dim because of something. I was disappointed on how much supplemental insurance was more than regular health insurance. I enjoy seeing other successful people making it as a couple through everything in fact I cheer them on but it just makes me think if I will find anyone. I barely dated anyone when I was physically fit male and then it seems the older I get it gets harder. Not to mention everyone down here leaves as soon as they find out I'm trans. It's only going to get more difficult because of borderline personality disorder. It's dang near seems impossible that people would even put up with that. After all that I'm still trying to be positive and hope for the best but I always expect the worst and that has always been the case. Pushing 40 and I haven't even experienced true love.
