Ok well I tried it and it's similar 2 the same feeling and like ya >_> Hard 2 explain

1. Open your mouth.

2. Put yout tongue to the back of ur upper front teeth

3. Push it

4. That's the feeling of the girl voice

5. Remember that feeling and try 2 find sum1 to talk 2

6. The person will tell you to go lower or higher, most likely lower

To go lower just like ummm o.o relax a little more

:) Hope it helped!

I don't think chibi meant keep your tongue there when you do it.

When you're pushing you're tongue like that, it's moving your throat into position...so remember how your throat felt, but you can keep moving your tongue in the spots you need it (to make the right vowel and consonant sounds).

Thank you posting! This an excellent way to give girls who are just starting out an idea of the muscles they need to learn to control to develop feminine pitch and resonance.

Oh by the way I *thought* I lost my girl voice because I was coughing alot so I stopped practicing. Anyways after I started I was like OMG I lost my girl voice o.o"" My two friends who had voice training told me that I wasnt breathing when I did my girl voice so I sounded all nasally*. Anyways So like ya o.o""... I guess I didn't breathe because I felt nervous and all that :3...Another lesson learned YOU SHOULD BREATHE when you talk. Not sound like as if u held ur nose o.o"" LOLOL! >.>""

I tried this method so many times and i dont think i'm getting it at all. Maybe i'm doing this wrong somehow?

Makes me feel stupid

You are not stupid, sometimes you need only another explanation so that you can understand what they are trying to describe - people are different, we all process information through our own filters formed through physiological and environmental factors - so here goes my attempt.

The feeling and throat position that you are trying to achieve is to stop the chest resonance - that's it - without the chest resonance a bass voice sounds like a hoarse woman.

It might help to imagine the sound not to be emanating from your mouth or throat - move it forward think of it as beginning at the tip of your nose - that is as far forward as you can get!

I had a great trumpet teacher who told me that as humans we take the simplest things and make them difficult - this is one more example - just breathe, think of not resonating and allow yourself the luxury of expressive inflections - that is about it - listen to Bea Arthur, Kathleen Turner, Lauren Bacall and Lauren Hutton - husky womens voices but no one ever questioned their birth sex - relax and you will sound female because you are!

Love ya,

Sally

Well, not your conventional way of doing it, but I guess it raises the position of the larynx doing that and therefore its a good way of getting the feel of where your larynx should be. There's lots more to acquiring a feminine voice of course, but it's not bad as a starting point.

Helen.

I know this sounds crazy, but after doing it and breathing deep almost all the bass left my voice and it's way higher I had to purposely make my voice deeper because my mom came home.

Good morning,   Put on my favourite new Rock band Tee from Torrid and some shorts.  I am just about ready to go spend my day at the stuffy day-centre after I get done soaking my feet.

4 months doesn’t seem such a long time now compared to the times I was previously looking at! 🙂   Many thanks to @Karen Careyfor pointing me towards GenderCare, they have been nothing but helpful and professional, and I wouldn’t be where I am now without them.

Love is a mix of feelings and actions that shows a deep liking for someone or something. Love involves caring for another. Romantic love can lead to things such as dating, marriage and sex, but a person can also feel for friends, such as platonic love, or family. There are also chemical reactions within the brain that can be triggered by the different types of love.

Good morning, everyone!! I'm still battling the Worst Head Cold Ever. Just when I think I've turned the corner, it smacks me back down. If you've got stock in tissues, I'm driving up your profits.   Our early Spring has the grass growing quickly. I need to get out today and cut it before it grows over the house. Today is supposed to be sunny and mid-60s so I'll suck up not feeling great and get the mowers out. At least I'll be in the sunshine for a few hours. The next few days are supposed to be rainy so it's today or wait until the weekend.   Time for a second cup of coffee!!   Stay safe and enjoy this beautiful day we've been given!!

Welcome Mattie.  When i got here i was at a point bin my journey when i was discovering my path.  Writing about it and reading about others helped me greatly as did gender therapy.  Perhaps the hardest thing was finding self acceptance without feeling guilt at simply being me. Enjoy your time here.  You are not alone.   Hugs,   Charlize

@Breanne_O You seem to be on your way there girl-- full speed ahead it was a real adventure for me 11 years ago.

I picked a cancellation spot with Dr Lorimer yesterday and had my consultation a month early.  I had been worried about how it would go, but the process of exchanging information was nothing to worry about and I felt quite at ease throughout.  That’s not to say some parts weren’t challenging to articulate clearly, but Dr Lorimer’s manner helped enormously.   The GI/GD diagnosis was such a welcome conclusion to it all, and such an important milestone in my journey.   Now for the Endo consult waiting…

This one is NOT over, and this is not a final final ruling on the matter since this was a procedural and not substantive ruling based on scientific evidence.

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/supreme-court/supreme-court-allows-enforcement-idaho-ban-gender-affirming-care-trans-rcna141209     6-3 decision, of course.  The conservative Justices really don't give a damn who gets hurt, as long as it's "just" trans kids.  This is what we can expect, going forward.    Carolyn Marie
