A song I absolutely adore for empowerment is 'My Body Was Made' by Ezra Furman. I always listen to it when I need a pick-me-up.

@Cyndee I have a therapist, but I only see her every three weeks. I don't feel comfortable talking to the school counselors.. I just don't trust them. I'm scared to bulk up, in the fears that it'll just make me look fatter. I want to bulk up my arms and I want to get abs. I don't like drinking protein shakes, I've considered it before, because of the calorie amount. (I struggle with anorexia. I'm still trying to get over it, as I have been since September of 2018.) I just seem to be stuck. Apparently, I hide my chest very well, according to others. I just feel like it's incredibly noticeable. Like I said, I'm stuck.

No Aiden, you are not crazy, body dysphoria is real, and it can be quite debilitating, many of us here have suffered the terrible feeling of being wrong in their body. Can you get to a counselor privately ? Can you start trying to bulk up a little, to try and compensate for the body image issues ?  Protein shakes, weights, build up those arms ? Clothes that hide curves ? Just presenting but a few ideas here.   Hugs   Cyndee -

It’s a very small difference. Use whichever you want. Just stick with one. I use my Fitbit over my Apple Watch because the Apple Watch comes in a couple thousand steps below the Fitbit if I wear both. Last time I tried both I had walked for miles in Boston and I only had like 2800 steps on my Apple, but I was at over 9000 on my Fitbit. Which seemed close to right to me. But 300 steps is pretty okay as far as step counters go I think.    I spent most of my day yesterday laid up with a back injury. As I am still doing today. It’ll be a very strict diet for me the next few days. Hopefully I’ll be back at it by Friday.

My dysphoria has been very suffocating lately.. I started shark week yesterday, and I had to talk to the nurse at my school about getting another pair of underwear and pants... There were other kids in the room... It was a whole mess and I'm still not over it... I feel like my gender dysphoria walks hand-in-hand with my body dysphoria/dysmorphia. Others say I look like i weigh only 110-115 (I really weigh at least 130) but to me, I look like I weigh about 150-160... I feel like I look to womanly... I don't always see myself like this, some days I think, "Woah, dude, you're a walking skeleton." It seems to just be getting worse as the day goes on... I don't know... Am I crazy?

Yesterday, I got the battery replaced in the Wii Fit Meter that comes with the Wii Fit.  So now I can wear that out as well when I am not exercising on the Wii Fit.  I cannot wait till I get home and sync it with my Wii U to see how I did on the graph.   I noticed that the step counter on the Wii Fit Meter says I did 2532 steps from midnight to 7am and my Fit Bit says that I did 2808 steps from midnight to 7am.  So do not know which one to believe now.   Yesterday, I did not do any exercise on the Wii Fit.  I just did the body test and see where my BMI is at.  I am now at 30.78 BMI.  I am finally out of the 31 BMI.  I have been stuck bouncing around 31.02 - 31.15 BMI.  But I am happy that I am now at 30.78 BMI.   My workout consisted of the Alexis Ren Ab workout.  I am on a mission to be able to stay and do the full 10min workout of her's.  I am close.  I am lasting 7min of the ab workout.  I am can feel that my stamina is getting better.     I did go get my Wii U Fit controllers so I can do more on the Wii Fit now.  Cannot wait to try that out as well.

@VickySGV you don’t realise how good you just made me feel. Seriously just made my day. Thanks for such kind words.  Honestly almost brought me to tears reading that post.  I am a woman and I like leather. And I love how it makes me look. It makes me feel special.  Hugs M

Hi Wolf.  Like you i was hiding for years.  I was 63 when i finally came out and went full time instead of hiding my feelings.  As to what to do.......maybe one little step at a time prior to taking what is a difficult jump.  Therapy helped me a great deal as did my time here and time talking to others i met.  Simply knowing i wasn't alone and not "sick" was perhaps the best help. Glad you've found us.   Hugs,   Charlize

I just think of it like this: I’ve always loved chocolate and it should have been a clue to who I am long ago! Lol

Hi Wolf,   Welcome! It's nice to meet you   Here is some published information for you to read, if you are not aware:   https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/gender-dysphoria/   There is other information available too. If you have specific questions please do not hesitate to ask as, even if someone here has not been there, they will likely know how to find out.   Tracy

I have managed to cut down quite a bit in recent years, but have always had a sweet tooth. Even when at school I had super thick chocolate spread sandwiches for lunch daily, and a large bar of chocolate went as soon as I started it. Maybe hormes make it worse, but I cannot imagine how!   Tracy

Even Trans people can have fetishes that do not negate the Trans at all.  I have friends who have a small stuffed animal collection or teddy bear collection.  I can go on for a whole list of others (and then there is my electronics hobby with a number of antique radios from 60 years ago).  You like the leather as clothing.  Drop the fetish connection, just drop it like it was hot.  You like the leather style feel and how it makes you look.  You are most likely Trans Female and women like to look good even in leather.
