Yom Kippur

4 posts in this topic

...In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall afflict your souls, and you shall not do any work ... For on that day he shall provide atonement for you to cleanse you from all your sins before the L-RD. -Leviticus 16:29-30

Our Orthodox and observant brothers and sisters will not be on line until after sunset this evening.

I would like to offer my wishes for all to achieve spiritual peace on this Day of Atonement.

May God be with you.

Ehhh, my Yom Kippur was not great. Most of it was spent wondering about food and water. But I lived!

It is a wonderful custom that everyone should observe.

A Day of Atonement, maybe we should have those every week.

There is nothing bad about making things right.

Sholem-bayes, (Peace and Harmony)
