On Tucking

Lacey, I don't doubt you know a lot and have seen more. but....

ok, this reminds me of a story a friend of my wife's told on her first husband. She went to buy him (in a very naive way just after they were married) jockey shorts at the local (we know most the merchants on a first name basis, and she owned a store in the town at time and was well known) store. Her hubby told her with a straight face to ask for, after the waist size, the 'large pouch ones'. She was embarrassed for a number of days to find out that didn't exist.

Anyway, I am rather normal, 5' 10 medium build, brown hair, (ok, ok, smallish hands, that ended my basketball career), nothing unusual, but there is a HUGE difference between tucking and not tucking. Unless of course I'm wearing warm ups. But put on a rather uh, slimming skirt? Tight jeans? Uh, yep!

I can only imagine those people bigger than me with, uh, much bigger hands.

Hugs

Chloe

ps, oh yeah, I had my tubes cut years ago, so hey 98.6, it's good to have you back again, but I can still love my baby...and not worry about those rascals.

Thought I would chime in on this subject, definitely a great subject. I tried many ways but could not be comfortable with anything and became very frustrated. One day when my girlfriend and I were shopping we both needed new panties so I looked at each brand carefully to see which one just might do the trick for me. I don't know if it would be appropriate to mention a certain brand or not so I will just describe them. I found that this particular brand of stretch cotton panties which are cotton and spandex have a double layer in the crotch which is not sewn down in the front thus leaving a pouch. I found that after pushing those two little annoying things back where they came from I could then push my penis into the pouch in the crotch of the panties and pull them up. Huh, instant tuck and all day comfort without things moving around even while working. I have often wondered did the manufacturer of these panties have us in mind when they designed them? Even if they didn't I like them and they work wonders for me especially when having to use a public restroom because it is a no fuss way of tucking. Thanks have a wonderful day.

Thank you all for these ways of getting a smooth look. I like the abdominal method, and it does not hurt at all!!!

Not sure what gets glue off the easiest, though. Aylen

I had NO idea about the abdomen trick! I asked my BFF about it, and she said "oh yeah...should have asked me, I could have told you..." Wha?! LOL! So...I tried it, and SONOFAGUN! It works GREAT! and NO PAIN! ~ahhhh~ so nice to wear tight pants!

If I move the testicles to the side (have not in 4 months been able to find the abdominal cavities people keep talking about :hairpull:), my thingy doesn't even go down to a space properly between my legs. The tip barely goes past the bottom of the scrotum.

Am I going to have to figure out how to tape, too?

It's going to be so ridiculously long before I can get these rotten little tumors fixed! God! I hate these stupid things!

The two cavities where the testicles descended from are underneath the top of your sack. If you take your hand and feel in that area you will find them. Once they are tucked away in there its easy to hid your thing between your legs.

I wanna thank you all for your suggestions this has been a major pain for me when i have gotten the opportunities to dress as myself. I will probably try them all and find which one feels the best and most comfortable for me.

Okay, I'll keep poking around until I figure it out. I just hope I don't throw up or something in the attempt.

Ok I'm totally freaked out. I've never handled them in that way and it feels so weird >.< Are they on either side of the penis? If so I found them..

Ok so when I do the tucking method where the testicles go up into the abdomen, I start by putting on very tight panties then sitting criss crossed and pushing them up, it works, they go into the cavity, bit when I try to cross my legs or move around it's very uncomfortable. :( Does anyone have this problem, any suggestions?

Okay, I finally found them! Now all I need is ten inches of tape and some blind fumbling around in the morning and I'm fine for the rest of the day. I guess it's just really hard to describe how to get them "up there."

I have found away to solving the tucking problem, the otherday I had my Orchidectomy and Guess what "Tucking problem solved".

All I have left other than some bruising is a very shrunken scrotum, and

It took me 4 months to get the tucking thing down. I knew very well where they went because one of my testies tends to go there on its own when highly aroused or during intercourse but it was still difficult to get them in there on my own.

I find it easier to do laying down. And I have to thank whoever gave the advice on grasping everything firmly with one hand from the base, pulling it all up, and gently pushing the testies past your hand. It was so much easier than trying to manuever them into there with my hands. :)

Unfortunately I am one with rather large hands so I have no choice but to tuck in order to hide the bulge. I can wear regular small full cotton or spandex panties alright without tucking most of the time. But if I get aroused its easily noticable.

I used to just tape my member to my leg. This worked for me as long as I was wearing a long dress or non-tight fitting jeans until I became more active. If the tape didn't irritate my skin, the constant growing and shrinking would eventually cause it to "slip" out of the tape or cause the tape to come undone. I remember being at work one day when the vice president of the company was visiting with her entourage. The tape had come undone and was trailing along the floor. I had a full store and I was the main cashier till my manager shift. That was nerve wrecking. I used (don't laugh. ^^") bondage tape. Its a special tape that only sticks (really well) to itself.

(sorry for the long post!)

I can't seem to get it to work for me...

Like Ariel, I have rather large, er, 'hands', lol...

Another possible explanation may be that I had a few hernia surgeries when I was an infant/toddler, so perhaps the 'cavities' are no longer there?

Anybody else here have a similar problem? Could hernia surgery be the culprit?

TIA!

After an amount of time doing this, they seem to tuck themselves every time I put on my panties, so I'm set. Still not sure about the SRS, but the Ori is becoming a very real possibility... then I won't have the issue at all... I was born with "small hands". ~smirks~

ugh the most trouble i have is you know the push up abdomen thing and then when im finally done you can still see a bulge i think im doing something wrong :/

I have the same issue actually. And I keep wondering the same thing. For now, I simply enjoy the fact that it almost looks like pubic mound. ^^"

I do occasionally have an issue with the lumps in the front. And at the point I have to make a decision of whether or not it looks better with them pushed up or if I can get away with just pulling everything pulled back with 'the man' in between the two (so I don't sit on them).

I have seen it said that this is the only draw-back to tucking. But according to others descriptions its not usually very visible?

Oh, since I have been tucking regularly my testicles tend to tuck themselves as soon as I stick on my panties. At least 1 will automatically tuck, the other either eventually will as things shift around or it just takes a simple readjustment to get it to tuck itself.

I have a similar problem with the right one due to surgery for an undescended testicle when I was younger. I gan get it party-way up but I think they closed the cavity off. :(

I recently found out that both my testes were undescended at birth (DES) and hence, the cavities are no longer available!

Looks like I'm gonna have to get 'em removed...ha!

Me and a friend of mine just tried the "make your own gaff" video but it seems our handmade gaffs were a little small. I'm not sure if maybe we were using a size that wasn't good for this project or maybe they are correct but do not fit as we had expected them to.

Certainly not something I would wear on an everyday basis, but its a good substitute for the gaff I purchased online if it were to go missing or still needed to be washed.

I use my  chosen name online and when ever I can. I play some online game and only go by that name. That is how everyone there know me. Yes it does feel great to be called the name you prefer.

I was ten years old when my mom walked in on me frolicking around my room dressed up in her bra, panties, and some pantyhose. I had been doing this in the privacy of my bedroom for a little while now so I had my own little stash box I kept full of different panties, bras, etc ... of hers. My mom's underwear was so easy for me to come by and she was a very attractive woman, classy, elegant. Well when she walked in on me, she looked at me with disgust and said to me... "If I wanted to run around like mommy's little girl instead of mommy's little boy, then she was going to treat me like mommy's little girl."  She left my bedroom after telling me NOT to change or get dressed or anything and returned with a few of her work skirts and blouses and such. She made me model off her outfits for her and I have to admit ... I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT. I felt so sexy, and feminine. And she knew I loved it.  She told me we can do this every weekend if I'd like. It would be OUR little secret.

The usual social ways, of course.  Taking care of my partners and stepkids, being involved in my community.  That makes me feel good about my role.   As for physical validation and gender... probably the most euphoric experience is sex.  I grew up with my mother telling me that my flat and boyish body was strange, that my intersex anatomy was shameful, that no man would want me. So experiencing what I was told I could never have is physical proof that I'm actually worth something.

<Moderator hat on>  I think that, at this point we need to get the thread back onto the topic, which is the judge's ruling on the ballot proposition.  If there is more to be said on the general principles of gendered spaces etc., please discuss them, carefully and respectfully, in separate threads. <Moderator hat off>

People who have no understanding of transgender conditions should not be making policy for people dealing with it. Since it is such a small percentage of the population, and each individual is unique, and their circumstances are also unique, each situation needs to be worked with individually to see that the best possible solution is implemented for those involved.
    • Abigail Genevieve
No.  You are getting stuck on one statement and pulling it out of context.   Trans kids have rights, but so do non-trans kids.  That conflict is best worked out in the individual situation.
    • MaeBe
I get the concept, I believe. You're trying to state that trans kids need to or should be excluded from binary gender spaces and that you acknowledge that answers to accommodate those kids may not be found through policy. I disagree with the capability of "penetration" as being the operative delimiter in the statement, however. I contest this statement is poorly chosen at best and smacks of prejudice at worst. That it perpetuates certain stereotypes, whether that was the intent or not.   Frankly, all kids should have the right to privacy in locker rooms, regardless of gender, sexuality, or anatomy. They should also have access to exercise and activities that other kids do and allow them to socialize in those activities. The more kids are othered, extracted, or barred from the typical school day the more isolated and stigmatized they become. That's not healthy for anyone, the excluded for obvious reasons and the included for others--namely they get to be the "haves" and all that entails.
    • Abigail Genevieve
Context.  Read the context.  Good grief.
    • MaeBe
Please don't expect people to read manifold pages of fiction to understand a post.   There was a pointed statement made, and I responded to it. The statement used the term penetration, not "dissimilar anatomy causing social discomfiture", or some other reason. It was extended as a "rule" across very different social situations as well, locker and girl's bedrooms. How that term is used in most situations is to infer sexual contact, so most readers would read that and think the statement is that we "need to keep trans girl's penises out of cis girls", which reads very closely to the idea that trans people are often portrayed as sexual predators.   I understand we can't always get all of our thoughts onto the page, but this doesn't read like an under-cooked idea or a lingual short cut.

"I feel like I lost my husband," Lois told the therapist,"I want the man I married." Dr. Smith looked at Odie, sitting there in his men's clothing, looking awkward and embarrassed. "You have him.  This is just a part of him you did not know about. Or did not face." She turned to Odie,"Did you tear my wedding dress on our wedding night?" He admitted it.  She had a whole catalog of did-you and how-could you.  Dr. Smith encouraged her to let it all out. Thirty years of marriage.  Strange makeup in the bathroom.  The kids finding women's laundry in the laundry room. There was reconciliation. "What do we do now?" Dr. Smith said they had to work that out.  Odie began wearing women's clothing when not at work.  They visited a cross-dressers' social club but it did not appeal to them.  The bed was off limits to cross dressing.  She had limits and he could respect her limits.  Visits to relatives would be with him in men's clothing.    "You have nail polish residue," a co-worker pointed out.  Sure enough, the bottom of his left pinky nail was bright pink  His boss asked him to go home and fix it.  He did.   People were talking, he was sure, because he doubted he was anywhere as thorough as he wanted to be.  It was like something in him wanted to tell everyone what he was doing, and he was sloppy.   His boss dropped off some needed paperwork on a Saturday unexpectedly and found Odie dressed in a house dress and wig.  "What?" the boss said, shook his head, and left.  None of his business.   "People are talking," Lois said. "They are asking about this," she pointed to his denim skirt. "This seems to go past or deeper than cross dressing."   "Yes.  I guess we need some counseling."  And they went.

Mine would be SHEIN as much as I have bought from them lol.
    • MaeBe
This is the persistence in thinking of trans girls as predators and, as if, they are the only kind of predation that happens in locker rooms. This is strikingly close to the dangerous myth that anatomy corresponds with sexuality and equates to gender.
