Hair Question......

I am trying to grow my hair out more, which in the past I used to have it really short. My question though is that since I am growing it out more the top of my hair is REALLY *spiky* on top and hard for me to manage, any advice which I can do to keep this manageable while still trying to grow it out?

Emily, I was in your same situation. Unfortunately there was nothing I could do until it grew out a little bit and then I could comb it down. The only thing you could do in use a lot of gel but then if it starts to stick up it is hard to get it back down. Sorry but they only solution I had was to just wait it out.

Yes that is what I thought I would have to do until it grows long enough where I can come it down or wear it in a pony tail when it gets to be that long. It just seems to take forever to get to that point! ~lol~

My problem is that even when I've tried leaving my hair to grow for 8 months without being cut, it just grows really thick, but with barely any extra length to whatsoever. This frustrates me no end, because my brother and sister's hair both grow long instead of thick.

The problem I have is that whilst as a teenager I barely had any body hair, since aged 25, I've turned into a furry thing. Hair removal cream needs to be applied at least once a month to get rid of it, and I can't stand it. I'm thinking about laser hair removal for it. Its just a pity it chose not to grow in length on top of my head, but everywhere else on me instead!
