What Kind Of Church Don't You Attend.

I subscribe strictly to the "What-If" theory. I've never been religous. I have attended churches for MANY religions. But my own personal beliefs are not associated with any of them. I walk the right path on my own.

That works. I have a similar way, but I believe that religion can be a great way to focus upon the Creation of OVERYTHING - and it follows - a CREATOR.

Sometimes I feel it could be a circular thing - the creator created us so we could create the Creator. Or that we are all the CREATOR, but just a splinter part - and eventually we all reassemble. OR the grand argument - "There HAS to be something about existing - or else we would not!"

So me? Methodist, Catholic and Wiccan - mixed in with my innate spirituality, and my old soul - GOD what a mix! PUN INTENDED.

It seems like, for those of us who are posting here, walking our own path is a common thread. I walk my own trail that blends facets from many places into a whole which works for me.

I do believe in the Bible. I have found through my years of searching, that Bilical truths mirror my Native American spiritual beliefs. As for chuch....I don't attend. I find that most churches are to tied into being religious and legalistic vs. having a very real spiritual, intimate relationship with Great Spirit, God the Creator. God is Spirit. We have to worship in Spirit. Just my belief.

I'm an empirical rationalist with no time for concepts like gods or souls. I am, however, psychologically disposed towards religion. This combination pretty much demands a lone path.

I do have a church, but only online; there aren't enough of us in one place to have otherwise. And I don't like the First One very much, so I rarely go there.

Non denominational Christian Church. Basically one that gets its beliefs strictly from the Bible and doesnt have the corporate hiearchy that some churches have. I am a very firm believer that God sent his son Jesus to walk among us and he died on a cross and rose again. I believe that Jesus gave us a new testament to live from and the old testament is just historical reference.

I come from a Catholic family but most people in my family are vehemently anti-religious. In my personal understanding

of spirituality over the years I have come a long way, for a long time I was bitterly angry at and institution I thought to be

the cause of many wars. However I have changed my mind and come to the thinking that religion is one of many things

unfairly, demonised- it is not religion that causes war but people.

Now I've come to find myself envious of people with religion in there heart, I think to have faith is a beautiful thing.

I believe in some thing wether that is cause and effect, Karma or simply that people are good, but in groups they can be

dangerous.

sorry not sure how clear that is

I believe in a power greater than me and I call him/her God. Thre are billions of galaxies out there, ours being a bit small. I believe one day we will realise how powerful god Really is. I do not belong to any religion except the feeling in mt heart that there is a god.
