I was happy

today i ended up suprising my friend at the mall, i caught her literally just as she got off,

any way it was cool we talked hung out,

than we went to bath and body works!

Never been in there before, but I LOVED IT!

She would open like the cap she smell it than hand it to me "smell" i would! ask me what i thought, OMG Lot of good stuff, Really nice, I always have a fun time hanging out with her!

her favorite and ming now too! Japanese cherry blosssom! it smells amazing!

it was funny at the cash register i sliped the cahsier $10 and i put my finger on my lips

and my friend goes to swipe the card and shes like wow it just went down 10!? cool?

the lady said ya its a secret santa thing.

She didnt catch on but its coool, I used my secret stash of cash so, it stays secret thats cool

but it felt nice doing something nice.

I definatly had a fun time, we went to gamestop, but i was like ok lets go! after two seconds.

So anyone else been in there? whats your favorite!

Ming was the "Japanese Cherry Blossom Shampoo" i think

PS: to clarify, I am not out to her, I am thinking about it but ugh! i dont think i should although i dont think she would say anything i mean i dont know its crazy she kinda feels like a sister. anyway back to bath and body works

apperantly its with victoria secrets also right now they are having a buy 3 get 3 free sale on anything!

I noticed that some things smell little different! from body wash to lotion, etc.

O they had a mgaical lotion i cant remember name but it actualy started smelling better the longer it was on her!

she would stop and smell and be like smell that its getting better right

Also after that omg their was such cute dragonfly earings they were studs i believe tiny not big at all! at a stand. they were small, they had i think opal two wing s and two wings birthstone!

I think this is te right section.

I know when im out and start transition im going straight there to pick up sometuff!

So once more Whats your favorite body wash, lotion, or whatever and why?

I like the Japanese Cherry Blossom cuz it isnt to strong or two sweet, its just right!

Hey Cynthia

I haven't been in a bath and body works for decades, but I am a sucker for anything that smells like cucumber. I love it so much I would spend my last dollar on it. Funny though I don't have anything that smells like it. Thanks for the post I will schedule it in to my next trip to the mall

The Japanese Cherry Blossom is also one of my favorites. also stopped into victoria secret before work this morning and was looking around, and smelling all there lotions and perfumes. The bad part is I am always missing the test strip and hitting my hands bilfoldld, purse, what ever is in the way, and by the end of this I start getting a headache from all the overwhelming smells at the same time, but I will live happily with and perfect my aim :P .

Luv

I always wondered how anyone could tell the difference in scents after inhaling the first one and today I stopped in an actual perfume store. Before smelling the first strip, the sales clerk ask if I wanted the 'coffee beans' first. Silly me, I thought she was talking about a scent name and said sure. Then she handed me a tiny jar of coffee beans. Now I know the secret. :lol:

@ Cynthia of Creation:

Girl, first, let me tell you how much I LOVE the screen name you use on here: Cynthia of Creation! AWESOME! Great, great, great name!

While I always try to stay positive with my comments, I've got to tell you: Don't know about that avatar you use. Kinda gruesome. But, hey, who am I to say? If you like it, by all means go with it.

BATH & BODY WORKS!

New Albany, Ohio powerhouse that now is in the big leagues of retailing but started out as one woman with a great idea and lots of gumption. Bath & Body Works is my store of choice whenever it comes to fragrances, emoluments, etc. Why?

They've got great stuff. Their prices are very reasonable. Their stores are slam-dunk awesome and just a pleasure to shop at. These people totally understand the aesthetics and mindset of their target shoppers. It's just SOOO much fun to be in their stores.

EVERY JANUARY AND EVERY JUNE, THEY HAVE THEIR SEMI-ANNUAL SALE! SHOP THERE THEN! YOU CAN BUY LOTS OF STUFF AND AWESOME PRICES!

My fragrances are exclusively from their stores. I'm alternatively using these fragrances from Bath & Body Works:

* Cool Citrus Basil;

* White Citrus;

* Citrus Sapphire;

* Midnight Pomegranate;

* Warm Vanilla Sugar; and,

* Lemon & Lime No. 1818.

These scents work with my body chemistry. I buy them ALL in Body Splash form rather than in either au de cologne or au de parfum forms. Body Splash form is the most dilute, so you can use it generously, it will last for hours and the price is right.

Want a heavier scent? Go with either au de cologne or au de parfum forms. Or, you could layer the shower soaps and body creams in the same fragrances if you want to.

Bath & Body Works will very generously let you try their products. Do so. Why? Find fragrances and products YOU like. Find fragrances and prodcuts that WORK with your body chemisty. Citrus-based scents work well for me, and I like them very much. Coconut does too.

You CAN go upscale at a store like Nordstrom or some such and pay $300 or so for 0.5 ounce of some hoitie-toitie fragrance, and there's nothing wrong with doing that. Me? Bath & Body Works any day of the week. Great stuff. Great prices. Great place.

Hope you like it. Happy shopping!

;) Lacey

Bath & Body Works' "Cool Citrus Basil" Bodysplash is a splendid blend of citrus essences kissed by an accent of basil which blend together into a marvelous melody of fragrance. If it works with your body chemistry, it will MAJORLY work with it and just totally pop and rock the house! Neither the citrus nor the basil predominates. There is a synergy that's just amazing! Love it!

You have Italian in you? Rock on, hon! Lacey Girl is half Italian and half Jewish (not really a race per se, but why belabor the point?)! Oh, Heaven help us!

Oy veh, Don Corleone, I have come to pay my respects! You schlemiel, I'm gonna make ya an offer you can't refuse! Bubalah, it's a family thing, you understand?

Hey, babes, about your avatar ... I'm just messin' with ya! Forgive me, hon! Looks cool to me. In fact, it rocks in a sinister sort of way, but then again, so do The Rolling Stones, and they are my all-time favorite band!

Peace & Happiness to You!

B) Lacey

Eh, goomba? Lemme be your yenta! Just 3 more days of the Big Semi-Annual Sale at Bath & Body Works, so hie thee hither cop some Cool Citrus Basil Bodysplash, honey! Score some Coconut Lime Verbena Bodysplash too if you can find it ... majorly good stuff!

I think your avatar and name is way cool Cynthia !

Was just back in the store yesterday with the girls. They keep sending me more coupons. With 4 women in this house that stuff goes fast.

This time we bulked up on "Secret Wonderland", body lotion and creams. I just used some this morning after shaving and have to say, it's like a floral explosion, very nice.

My daughter is into "Sweat Pea".

      There are lots of women around here who ride bikes. It's very uncommon for them to wear skirts though. Generally the clues are almost down to slight differences in build or even riding style as the clothes they wear are pretty much identical, even men occasionally wearing feminine coloured helmets (eg pink!).   Tracy

      The way  the Federal Government has been acting lately,  and the religious influence certain groups have, I would be extra cautious.

      https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/2019/06/17/transgender-people-can-use-chosen-names-cards-mastercard-says/1478201001/   This is a great idea, and a shrewd business move.  But the article lacks detail on how this would work.  For example, I imagine one would have to come out to the company.  That has my privacy meter on high alert.  But, still, it might be workable.   Carolyn Marie

      Sounds like you’ve been able to keep some secrets for quite some time now. My friend just commented on me being able to keep my secret(s) for a long time too. My family and some friends would be at odds with this. My kids would be find, but I don’t want to hear it from my ex 🙄. I’ve come to a time in my life where I don’t want to waste anymore time. But I don’t feel the need to tell everyone. I don’t really have to tell anyone, but that hasn’t stopped me from buying 8-10 drawerful of women’s clothing, and a collection of fav lipstick and makeup. I am comfortable dressing at home for now, and in time, I will venture out into the neighborhood, possibly as soon as Pride next month. I enjoy talking to my therapist, doctor, my friend, and everybody here at TransgenderPulse!!  Enjoy life the best you can, but your never too old, especially if it makes you happy! You have to think of yourself at some point, but don’t rush if you don’t need to. Baby steps. Best of luck in your journey!!!

      There's no such thing as "too long in the tooth."  There's a woman close to where I live who started her transition in her 80s.     Losing relationships is an unfortunate part of the process for some, but for many those people come around eventually.  They realize the loss is entirely theirs.  Whether those close to you fall into that category we can't predict.   I do want to speak seriously to something you said.  Half in jest, as they say.  Addiction is a very real risk among the trans population - once a substance starts being used to mask or otherwise cope with gender issues, it's especially easy to form a habit.  While the alternative is almost always harder, it's also always recommended.   Welcome aboard!  Please dive into any conversation that strikes you and ask questions as they arise.

      Squeeee squeee! I finally felt I could stop wearing the athletic supporter and padding, and tried on my 2nd favorite thong I have!! It feels soooooooo much better now. They fit And feel amazing! Way better than before, cause Nothing is falling out, and I’m not thinking about those things anymore. It  feels surreal. With the exception of the one thing left, it feels like nothing is there with these thongs on! I’ve been getting teary eyed on and off all day, getting a little chocked up right now. I can fully cross my legs stand with my legs together with No problems, squeeeeee!! Sooo worth it!!! It’s everything and more 💜💜💜

      Hi! Everybody is different, and I will try to help you with how I have felt over 5e years and how I feel now after doing what I have done and experienced.  First you have already said things that can qualify as Gender Dysphoria (GD), “when I think about the idea of going through transition and reading about the bottom surgery, it actually kind of puts me at ease.”  My point here, is the Distress you feel from your body parts, goes away after your thoughts of removing them through surgery. That you feel better when you are in a life that is not the “assigned at birth” role.  I have felt this way on and off from as early as 4yrs old. I say on and off, cause at times, I “had to suppress “ my true feelings growing up, due to my environment. Now that I am in a better position, I am able to follow my dreams. But that wasn’t always as easy as it seems now, it took a lot. You are doing the right thing, research and ask a lot of questions. Do not try and rush anything, and don’t try to feel that you need to follow a template. Go at your own pace, trust yourself. But above all else, Be Safe! May 6th I had an Orchiectomy, and I’m still healing. I feel great tho, even better now that I stopped wear that awful, burn necessary athletic supporter. I’m wearing my 2nd favorite thong, finally, and floating a bit from the happiness. It took me a while to get enough courage to get here, but here I am. And I’m going to happy for quite a while, this was a big step and I want to enjoy it before I take the next big step. I’m on HRT/ Lady Meds, so I will be happy when I see even more improvements. A little over the three month mark now, and I’m seeing some body and emotional changes. I can’t wait until my breast and hips show more. Time will tell. It sounds like you are headed in the right direction. Talking about helps a ton. If you are not out, can you dress, and use makeup and or props? That might help you see how you feel when you can check it all out. Maybe go to a LGBTQ event such as Pride, or something else near by? You don’t have to jump right in the middle, but you could check it from a comfortable distance.  Do you feel comfortable with your therapist?, if you do, great, keep asking and talking.  Enjoy your Journey if you can! Best wishes!

      I love to play World of Warcraft, Dungeons & Dragons. I love to throw the football, play some basketball, build sandcastles, ski, make things out of paracord, ride bikes, and other things. If anybody told me it was too masculine or too feminine , I would put them in check. If my friends had a problem with me, I would tell them they do t have to join. Although it would be hurtful, I don’t want people that are mean or @$$*’s in my life. Don’t need it, don’t want it.
