Acrylic Nails

Now that I don't have to go back into male mode, except perhaps in some weird emergency, I decided to do something special for myself. I have very thin nails that break and crack every time I try to grow them out. So I went to my favorite nail salon and got acrylic nails! I got white tips, although I hear that pink and white is good, too. These aren't my hands, but it shows what they look like:

I just love them. They are so sexy and feminine. I'm learning how to type with them and do other routine things in such a way as to not risk breaking them. But they seem pretty durable. They aren't practical if you need to do any tough manual work, or need to switch back to male mode in less than a month. But if you can, it is a wonderful indulgence, and you will feel really pretty.

Well, instead of getting acrylics, for the time being I filed my natural nails down to square tips instead of their usual rounded shape. It's the next best thing for now I guess.
