Has anyone been watching the Democratic National convention? What are your thoughts?

I've been watching the convention, and I think that the democrats have been doing a good job. Unfortunatly it seems like a lot of the good sound bites I've heard in the speeches aren't getting played on the news. But it's looking like the republican convention will be upstaged by the weather, so I think that Obama will get a bigger boost from the conventions the McCain will.

I read about it, video does not give you time to reflect.

Bill Clinton said Obama is the best "man" for the job. He would have been more supportive if he said "person" he still can not give up the idea that Hilary was not selected.

For me, I have ties with Obama because he's from Hawaii...and one of my professor's married to Obama's sister. My prof. was looking nice in his suit at the convention. X-D

I think Obama would be great...and I admit it is partially because he comes from my neighborhood (literally...heard he once lived 5 min. walking distance from where I am now) and I'm sure he saw the neighborhoods go bad just like I do.

He understands what it is to deal with diversity that America really stands for I believe.
