The flower in bloom (By Michelle Harper)

Summer held fragrance warming hearts and filling hopes, children caught smiling, some splashing some with boats.

Busy days and glimmering waters that silk so slowly on by, never stopping to inhale it’s beauty from the blink of an eye.

Cotton wool clouds, the warm air and still, the moment that finds you and tempers your will, to remember your past is always at hand, never stopping never slowing like surf onto sand.

Look around and admire your right to exist, a small part of beauty this Earth it consists, of angels like you who’s form is not blind, so caring so loving, a template for mankind.

With haste we all live and a moment taken to give, is worth all that we own and the reason is this,

Think not of tomorrow but now right at hand and give yourself worth and give not your demand, that the garden of life is rainbowed its true, with varying colours reflecting of you, some fade and some die and yet they renew, remember this always for it is all so true.

Give now as your time and make more of your room, for the beauty of you, yes the flower in bloom.
