Funny Clerk at Walmart

I am standing at the checkout with a pair of black thigh-high stockings ( - one of the great innovations of the late 20th c IMO). And I'm dressed in my normal evryday guy clothes. The clerk is a lady a few years older than me.

She scans my purchase and gives me a cheeky look and says "are you sure these are your size hon'..".

I smiled back and said "I sure hope so ma'am"

I was grinning all the way home.

I'm pretty sure she had no idea I was shopping for myself.

Actually Autumn, not too bad, just a mild nervous shake. I'm working on getting over my timid feelings about buying female clothes. Anyway, the clerk was really sweet and you could tell it was meant kindly, so it actually brightened up my day.

Oh my goodness! John. I know its only a small thing but it feels so lovely to be wearing them, actually exhilarating. It seems so shallow to be feeling that way about an item of clothing but its true. I'd say they look pretty good on too, they certainly flatter my legs. Actually, I'm wearing them now (under blue-jeans so nobody knows.).
