A Whole New Kind of Nightmare

4 posts in this topic

Well...my nightmares usually involve some kind of violence, or something that's, well....scarier than this. For example, I once had a nightmare that me, my dad, and some friends were being hunted by a guy that was inhumanly fast, and had a knife.

This one, however...Basically, my mom came up to me and said that now, she can definitely tell I'm a guy, because when I yell, I really mean it (or something like that...dream-talk) just like my dad. I was so, so happy, I jumped at her and we hugged while I cried for like 5 minutes while I kept saying "thank-you" over and over again.

Later in the dream, we went upstairs and she started making the bed in her and dad's room, and I saw a bump under the covers. It looked kind of like something was under it, and my first thought was either animal or person who wanted to hurt my mom, so I started punching it. It turned out to be the bedpost. My mom laughed and said that me and dad were so alike (which she always says in real life, but always in a negative manner), both like "watchpigs".

Yup, watchpigs, not watchdogs. So, that tipped me off, and I realised I was dreaming. I started thinking "no...no...NO!" over and over until I finally woke up.

That nightmare was worse than the one about being hunted ._.

i sorta had a dream like that once. me, my brother and my dad were all standing in the kitchen, and talking about something i dont remember, when all of a sudden my brother starts using male pronouns and my guy name and stuff. i started freaking out because i wasnt out to my dad, and i thought i would get in trouble, when all of a sudden my dad said "dont call her "he" untill she's sure she really wants it." i loked at my dad, and he nodded at me and said that he'd love and accept me no matter what, and i got sooo happy, i started crying (in the dream and while still asleep) and ran over to hug him. but then i remembered that i wasnt out to my brother yet either, and realized it was a dream....

but now i know that my father's opinion of me is very important to me.
