How to Pass with Large Hands?(MtF)

I'm not in hormones yeat, but one of my biggest problems are my hands. They are not your average skinny hands from most teen boys. They are 18cm the last time I checked, and are quite thick.I need to lose 10kg to get into the weight I supposed to be,but still, the bones of my hands are not so skinny either.

At least, most of the time adult males tend to have bigger or at least thicker hands then mine, but they are still completely not feminine.

If you have big hands, how you do to make them more feminine?Did happened of someone noticing them?

Thanks for your answers^^

Discussion of hand size makes me think of Fred Astaire. In his time, he made many movies that usually had dance scenes in them, Fred dancing with Ginger Rogers. What about Fred? He was a lanky guy who had really big hands. And when you see him dance, you never notice. He always turned them down or away from the camera, or kept them folded up,

I don't have much time to watch old movies, but I always watch Fred Astaire and follow his hand movements on screen. Lessons to learn there!

My hands are relatively big for my size too. and I do some of the Fred Astaire things - not keeping my fingers extended, but curved instead, not reaching straight out, but with bent wrist instead. Beyond that, I do think that HRT will eventually make them less muscular - but it isn't happening yet.

Love, Megan

My hands are not huge but they are large. The solution is to feminize your hands. Moderately long nails help - but wear slim bracelets as well.

Elizabeth your hands are beautiful, very feminine

Sometimes when I have my nails longish they look a little better

My problem is that the palm is large, the fingers are thick, except for the

"ring" and the "pinky",if all of them were like the "ring" I would feel better

My hands looks horrible when I let them on surfaces,I try to hide or let them

closed most of the time.

I understand how you feel, my hands are very small, even for a bio woman and im a transman..........my feet too, i cant buy mens shoes, have to have boys, not much fun but feel just accepting those things which cant be changed helps - in your case, many bio women have big hands and feet these days, women are getting bigger......

In my case, I found square cut nails make my hands look smaller.

I believe rounded nails make fingers look longer so my goal was to do the opposite of that.

Of course there are the klutzy folks like me that dislocated 7 joints in three fingers about 24 years ago, and have big. misshapen, false joints in 2 of the fingers today. Put your elbows on a table with your forearms at about 45 degrees in front of you, and just relax your hands. Do it in front of a web cam and get a picture. (Or just hold your hands in a normal typing position too!!) This is a very nice and feminine postion for hands, with a picture, figure whether you want to lengthen the overall look of the fingers (oval, longer nails) or shorten their look and thin them a bit (square nails). Otherwise just have a good story about tripping over a fire hydrant in downtown Los Angeles like I do. Laugh it off and people will not see them again.

I have seen women with large hands. But honestly I think the oval nails thing does the trick. Another thing I would recommend for a little self esteem booster is to look at other womens hands. You will notice that in proportion to their arms or wrists are not all that "feminine." Don't stare at magazine ads those woman have some of the best hands I have ever seen. My fiance has stubby nails and I think it can make her hands appear, more manly. The bones in my hands are so big I can't fit bangles around them :( I have to find plus size bracelets just to get over the knuckle joints. I'll try and get a picture up. Note, not on HRT (yet!) and I keep my nails oval tipped, don't really care what others think of me in guy mode, no one really every says anything.

Fred Astaire had freakishly large hands. Way out of proportion to his size so he learned a trick and trained himself to always keep his thumbs tucked in. Whether dancing or talking. Watch one of his movies. Worked like a charm and few people ever notice his hands. You can tell when you know to look for it

Mine are not big but are too square for a woman, broad with short fingers. Having now read about gender bone structure differences I realize they are male proportioned. But living female I always wore long nails and kept them perfectly groomed. Made them much more feminine.

I also wore more rings to draw the eye to different parts of my hand rather than having one focal point to emphasize the proportions. I think overall I would notice more square hands on a woman much more than hand size

Okay... Got my album made and my left hand uploaded.

Sorry to do this to you, but your hand and my GG daughter's look just the same, I was helping her with some bead work yesterday and was watching and doing some sorting of warp threads, so hands were the focus.

I am kind of ok with my hands I just don't like the way my thumb is. I'm hoping hrt fixes that. Anyone else feel the same? Anyone who's been on hrt longer that my 2.5 months notice a difference?

Also... As mentioned, if you are good at how you present / carry your hands... That can go a loooooong way.

I went to WM today with the objective of buying sandals: they would be women's, but look like men's; they would be brown or black, not white.  I realized the cheapest way to go  was to go for flip-flops, which I observed were prevalent in the store. So I checked out the women's.  Flowers. White shiny straps. Nothing that could possibly be men's. The best deal was one flip flop for $3.98.  At first I thought that was a pair, then, nope.  And because I comparison shop (is there the same thing in men's?) I found the cheapest over there was $6.98 for a pair of flip flops in green that also match my women's cargo shorts that I love.  Doing the math, finding the pink tax.  Rip off.  I have found a blue tax this way, but usually they charge women more for something than they do men. I guess women tend to lose one flip flop at a time or something. Weird.  The pairs were a lot higher.   So, following my rule, but unhappy with it, I bought the green men's flip flops.  They were the cheapest.  Later wife of mine complimented how masculine I look in my matching shorts and flip-flops.  Inward groan. We have not discussed the Subject in a long time because I think she forgets it is there as soon as the conversation ends.  Or she is trying to talk me out of this.  Not sure.  We only discuss it when necessary, and how often do most couples discuss whether one spouse is one sex or the other? Outside of here, I mean.  So we very seldom talk about it and she is happier if she does not know about it. Super stealth.  I do the laundry and I shower in the shower in the wing away  from the master bed room so I have my own shower.

I'm very glad that everything worked out even better than you thought. It's a tough spot to be in and I know the exact feelings. I'm still waiting to apply for divorce under abandonment so I officially can meet someone who one day I can call someone my prince or my queen. Although the desire for someone is fading because of everything. it's even more amazing that she was your high school sweetheart! Looking forward to the next entry.

Awww thanks for listening everyone. I have another 5-6 songs in this style that I started recording at the same time, so hopefully I’ll finish the next release soon.   Yes, exactly. Everything was easier about this project, mainly because it felt authentic. The energy was very different, because it was such a pleasure to express myself without a filter. I laughed a lot.

Thanks for listening @Mmindy.   You’re welcome @April Marie. I think Sally Can’t Dance is an underrated album.

Well I had an interview with the local Ford Dealership for an opening in the parts dept. It sounded positive. I was told I would here by tomorrow morning.    Other than that just sticking around the house. I haven't done much, the weather is cold and yucky. Doesn't look like good weather till Sunday. Maybe tomorrow I'll fire up the heater in the garage and see about getting the other brake hose put on the Explorer.   Have a good rest of your day/evening.   Hugs, Kymmie

Maybe they called me he/him at the dealership because I completely forgot my mascara! Eyeliner without mascara…a bold new trend among the helplessly lost! :)   Fixed that!

Ah. Email from Gibson. [it was actually less legible than this, as he didn't use punctuation, it was all caps, and he ran all his words together. Taylor was used to it.   T - As everyone was under my super. this last year, don't worry about the evals. I will handle it. Send all email about new proposals to me, your unit handles work under way.  You will be involved but the first step is those go to me. Thanks   Here is an outline of what questions I want to see answered tomorrow.  Feel free to just jot down your thoughts.  If you don't know, say so and maybe point to how we can find that out............   Your new position will seem very challenging for a while but I am sure you can handle it.  Everyone has the utmost confidence in you.   PS your performance evaluation will be stellar, as reflected in your new position and compensation.  You get 100. One less thing to worry about.   Taylor sent him 45 emails right after that, gave some thought to the questions, and then had to turn to one of the proposals under way and review it.  That done, she read through the personnel files on her people so she would better understand them and what they could do. There was a very thin folder with her name on it.  It had one piece of paper on it. On it was written "the best!".  The others were thicker but didn't take long either, and she returned to answering the questions.
