I love Belinda Carlisle as well! Summer Rain and Valentine and two of my favourite of her songs.

Great song by Wilson Phillips! I actually have that on a CD in my car :)

I love your taste in music.

I can listen to beautiful voices sing all day any day.... so relaxing.

As strange as it sounds.. its like I fall in love with their voices.. sort of.  Hard to explain.

I have a love of nearly all music I think, I like everything from music from the 80s, 70s, 60s, 50s and modern music too :) One singer I'm especially fond of is Elvis Presley. I agree with you, strange as it sounds, but some singer's voices you can't help but fall in love with - no pun intended lol.

Most music I fall in love with, I find that nearly every singer has a way of making you really relax and just breathe and listen to their music. I sing as well, if I could I'd love to do that as a career :)

@jo jo I love Paul Young as well! Such a talented and handsome man. Like you said, soulful, a true performer who touches your heart with his music. My favourite Paul Young song is Softly Whispering I Love You.

Today I'm re-listening to Nefesh Mountain's self-titled album. It's one of my absolute favorites. Stunning work.

I keep forgetting to get their new album. I'll try to remember to do that this weekend.

Right now I'm listening to Brian Adams with songs like Summer of '69, Straight from the Heart, and Somebody. Yesterday I wound up listening to a Cat Stevens cd. I might be listening to my Queen cd this afternoon.

I woke up with this song in my head the last couple mornings, I made a mix tape for My best friend in the whole wide world, someone who occupies my thoughts constantly, And I must really like this song because I keep hearing it in my head, Slide.., by The Goo Goo Dolls.

attergangar, by eldrim. found their song kvile/rest by accident just the other day and was surprised to look into their channel and see that they made the song with no studio to record in and have mostly only uploaded rehearsals.

i don't think i've ever come across a band so new with such a sound to them. i'm really excited to watch where they go.

I love Queen,

Listening to Queen's first album an early favorite, really takes me back to '73 and the song "Keep yourself alive". The guitar work is fabulous.

Don't Stop by Fleetwood Mac.  It was my coming out song way back in Christmas 1977.  I play it every holiday season as I prepare to deal with Xmas homophobes.   I also listen to Foo Fighters  My Hero, for similar reasons.  Plenty of heroes on this site to keep inspiring me.

I was born in 81 and too young at the time to appreciate the band and their work but the meaning of Bohemian Rhapsody is so powerful. Not to mention the song I Want to Break Free.

This topic reminds me of the lyrics to the Beatles song, "A Little Help From My Friends."   "What do you see when you turn out the lights?"   "I can't tell you but I know it's mine."   Carolyn Marie

@Ivy have you read the actual document?   Has anyone else out there read it?
    • Abigail Genevieve
I am reading the Project 2025 document https://www.project2025.org/policy/   This will take some time.  I read the forward and I want to read it again later.   I read some criticism of it outside here and I will be looking for it in the light of what has been posted here and there.  Some of the criticism is bosh.   @MaeBe have you read the actual document?

      *older, not holder, oops :P
    • Abigail Genevieve
      No problem!
    • RaineOnYourParade
Old topic, but I gotta say my favorites are: "Stop hitting on minors" (doesn't work if you're holder tho) and "Sure as [squid] not you"

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Congratulations Lorelei! Yes, it is a powerful feeling to have the documents that say "you are you".

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).

I will have arrived when I have a b*tch certificate of my own.  I think someone called me one once.

That’s fantastic Lorelei. I’m so happy for you.   Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
