Fail! If the insurance companies intention was to make me feel worthless than the succeeded. I don't think that was their intent so I am going to label this as a FAILURE! Though the people in the group were nice and supportive, it was clear to me that something was wrong. Everyone in the group was either going to college or working in their chosen careers. That really is difficult for me to deal with because I'm to "sick" to be in school according to the VA. Anyways, I will be amazed if I make 2 weeks of this without going into the hospital again. Please remind me how this is suposed to be making me better.

Emily - judge yourself by comparison to YOU - the old you, the new you, the future you. Forget about comparisons with others.

You are just fine AS YOU! Look how far you have come - and laugh at those others - 'cause they have no CLUE of all you have had to overcome. You are one tough broad!

Emily, I agree with Lizzie. You aren't in competition with anyone. You are there to get better, and find a way out of your eating disorder. Neither the insurance company nor the therapy center have any control over the backgrounds of the other program participants, and it certainly isn't a conspiracy to make you feel bad.

Concentrate on why you are there and what you want to accomplish with the program. Please don't spend your mental energy worrying about what others may or may not feel about you.

Hey, Girl!

Sorry to see this so long after you posted, sure hope you are feeling better now, sounds like a tough time...

Just another bump, though, on the road to wellness and stability. You have been through worse and come out of it smelling like a rose..

Trust your inner motivations, disregard the unsettling and distracting negative thoughts, stay true to your real objectives. Side drama won't help a thing...

Love and another BIG hug for you!

Yesterday I had to go to the ER. I was very dehydrated with all the symptoms. After trying to rehydrate during the morning and not succeeding I went to the VA. They gave me a liter of fluid and something to treat the nausea and headache. I didn't get out in time to go to IOP, so I will have to make up the day this Saturday.

I want to get better, it is just very hard to do without the proper support, and right now I'm not getting it.

Thanks for the good thoughts.

Emily, just remember and feel the love of the people who know you best. You have poured out your heart to us and we love you for that. Don't judge yourself by people who don't know you. We know you and we are the ones to judge yourself by. We are at all different levels of our journey just as you are. We to have fears and have doubts at times just as we know those thoughts upset you to because you have them to. We will never judge you because we to are experiencing the struggle for acceptance as well. Just be strong and when you can't, call us and pour your heart out. I'm listening and I have strong arms to hug you and a shoulder for you to cry on and empathy and understanding. My first contacts with mental health people was pretty negative. My experiences today are incredibly different. Please keep in touch with us and we will keep in touch with you. Katheryn.

      No problem!

Old topic, but I gotta say my favorites are: "Stop hitting on minors" (doesn't work if you're holder tho) and "Sure as [squid] not you"

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Congratulations Lorelei! Yes, it is a powerful feeling to have the documents that say "you are you".

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).

Good morning everyone,   It’s Thursday well as least I took my Thursday Medications as sorted out in my weekly dispensary caddy. Today’s coffee is Folgers Breakfast Blend served HOT, black and strong. My wife and I are going to explore the Western and Southern coasts of Saginaw Bay and hang out in Bay City, MI. today.    @Willowonce @Abigail Genevievepointed out the word usage in your post. I read it and laughed, enjoying the snarky tone of the comment. Since it was spelled correctly I thought maybe you meant for it to read just as you typed it. Then the kinder gentler me thought it would be better if I changed it. I’m not saying I corrected it, I just changed the severity of the sentence.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
