Good day all

I was thinking back the other day trying to descover when my transgender issue started.

I remember when I was in grade 5 I got my first pair of stockings and loved wearing them.

Then I bought makeup when I was 13 and used to hide it in my secret place under the stairs.

When The normal age for puberty came all the other boys I knew went through voice breaking and normal guy stuff, but I was different my voice only started to go deeper at 18 I went through alot of other mixed emotions and developed small AA cup breasts which i still have today I went to clothing stores and bought bras pantys etc...

I went to a psycologist and he helped me hide my feeling but now I am 35 and relize my real gender must be Female i am a male now and feel trapped

Hi,

Good place to get untrapped. Do you see a therapist now? A good second move after Laura's. Come to terms with your identity and live the way you choose. Folks here will be here for you 24/7.

Best of luck,

Sara

Going to a Gender Therapist is something I cannot recommend enough. I have been to several therapists and almost all of them had me more depressed going out than I came in. Except for the GTs. It was so extremely liberating being able to freely be me in those sessions!

Gender therapy broke down my masks. I learned I could still be myself in real life, and that feeling is absolutely worth reaching for. Now that I know how to break my masks down, I can be myself with my close friends. Your mileage may vary, of course.

.

I was in your place...and I was 58.

I broke down and went to a gender therapist and I am now the happiest that I've ever been in my life....

Try it, Hon....

So glad your here and that i found your post. Like Donna Jean i got started late after hiding all my life. Every step i take brings new freedoms and new responsibilities. I am getting to really look at this thing called Charlie and try to figure which way it will go. He or she or both? don't know and that's confusing but a lot better than hiding.

Hugs and welcome to Laura's

Charlie

It all starts around 5th grade! I did the same thing, sneaking in the bathroom when my mother was drying her pantyhose. It was so exciting and such a turn on wearing them. I remember skipping school, not to have fun with the guys, no to spend the day dressed as a girl! I'm forty now and the sneaking around has finally caught up with me. I'm out of the closet, my wife knows and I am a mental wreak. God I wished I was back in the 5th grade!

Good luck,

Chrissy

I am new to Laura;s site and I started about the same age with a slip and stockings! I went to a psychologist for years and still do but some things can't be repressed, like who we really are as a person!

No other person can feel what you feel and each of our circumstances are unique but I can relate to what you have been facing. Most around us know nothing about how we feel and that it is OK because it pleases US!

Love you and stay well!

This topic reminds me of the lyrics to the Beatles song, "A Little Help From My Friends."   "What do you see when you turn out the lights?"   "I can't tell you but I know it's mine."   Carolyn Marie

@Ivy have you read the actual document?   Has anyone else out there read it?
    • Abigail Genevieve
I am reading the Project 2025 document https://www.project2025.org/policy/   This will take some time.  I read the forward and I want to read it again later.   I read some criticism of it outside here and I will be looking for it in the light of what has been posted here and there.  Some of the criticism is bosh.   @MaeBe have you read the actual document?

      *older, not holder, oops :P
    • Abigail Genevieve
      No problem!

Old topic, but I gotta say my favorites are: "Stop hitting on minors" (doesn't work if you're holder tho) and "Sure as [squid] not you"

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Congratulations Lorelei! Yes, it is a powerful feeling to have the documents that say "you are you".

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).

      I think I lost a friend :(

I will have arrived when I have a b*tch certificate of my own.  I think someone called me one once.

That’s fantastic Lorelei. I’m so happy for you.   Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
