Hey gals,

Being a new member I just want to say thanks again for all of the support. Every day I realize I'm on a long journey. Sometimes I feel like digging a big hole and jumping in. Ugg.......Anyway, I ran across this hair removal product called Finally Free. It uses Radio Technology. Approved by the FDA and it has a patten. All fine and dandy does it actually work? Feed back anyone?

Best wishes,

*******Jessica

I looked up reviews... it has a 1.1 out of 5 stars on Amazon, also being FDA cleared only means that it is safe... it doesn't mean it is effective (there are multiple levels of FDA approval). It appears to be a ripoff. As far as I know there are only 4 types of effective hair removal, Laser, IPL, electrolysis, and more recently ultrasonic (although very few places offer that in the US, and it is more costly and more time consuming than electrolysis so i don't see the point). Electrolysis is the only guaranteed way permanently *remove* hair.

Also there is only one laser machine FDA approved for "permanent hair *reduction*" and that is the cutera coolglide. I recently switched from a place using the soprano XL laser to the cutera coolglide and I can say from my experience that it is far more effective (the place is also cheaper, 175 for a full face session vs 200 at the old place)
