I recall I was around 14 and it all started with panties.. then I tried on a few of my sisters things and that just made me realize that I liked it more and more the more en femme I was.

I dress since my 12 years. I grem up in a family of women. Non grand father and my father let me be into the hands of mother, aunts and three elders sisters. It was not so easy as today to dress and even to find a wig. Anyway as I went out to the superiors studies , having my own room, i seriosly began to dress. I married and my wife knew and helped me to be Danyela. We divorced for others reasons, but I followed up to be the woman I wanted to be. In the last decades i can say that into my walls I'm always 90% o the time, in dresses. May be not always into make up, but i cannot be different as i feel to be and to belong . I live in a small town and i cannot easily go out, but i try time to time to meet others girls like us, and this is the best i can do .

My mother had me wear dresses when I was four and five years old. She sewed dresses and I guess I was a 'walking advertisment' so she could obtain oders for the neighbor women for their daughters. My father was not aware of my mothers doings as he was confined to a tuberculosis ward when I was at that age. Starting elementry school my mother let me wear boys clothes. :oAfter divorce at forty I started wearing panties quite a lot and then progresed to full dressing in women's clothes and also applying makeup and purchased a wig at a beauty salon.

Well, I never really intended to cross dress in the first place, I found myself doing it without much thought.

Looking back now, when I was eleven years old I prefered mens clothes, because I prefered the style and comfort. The clothes my parents bought for me were too tight fitting and brightly coloured in my opinion, I just hated them! Theres not one specific occasion I can recall and say 'this is the first time I cross dressed', I dont really remember much of my childhood, its a bit of a blur, but there are things I do remember.

When given the option I would always buy/wear uni-sex clothes, or ones from the men's section of the store. Shirts would always be bought in several sizes larger than what I needed, because I liked having the appearance of a flat chest.

At the time, I thought nothing of it, and still to this day I wonder if I really can label it as cross dressing, because it is not something I intended to do at first, but rather something that I've grown into as I've gotten older.

For me I started dressing in My older Sisters cloths I was 6 years old I took one of her dresses and a pair of her panties from the laundry I remember that the dress was yellow and white cotten panties my first time crossdressing and did so about once every three to four monthsand getting more frequent as I got older. I think I was about 12years old when I was first cought and told not to do this and me being a Taurus I started dressing more often and getting my own girls clothes from where I could.

I started when I was about 10, it started with my cousin that lived with us and sister's dresses and panties. I always looked at girls and wanted to dress like them. I always had more girls as friends growing up then boys. At about 13 I added bras to my stash. Id dress when no one was home. I just loved the way the clothes and underthings felt on me. Id go for walks in the woods and once I was safe I'd strip off my boy clothes and put on the skirt and blouse or cami and jeans I had brought. I even had a swimsuit I would dress up in in the summer and go swimming in a secluded part of the river. I stopped for a long time after joining the army then when I went Germany and had to live off post due to space shortages in the barracks I'd dress everyday after work in my apartment. I even went out dressed from time to time.

I remember like it was yesterday. When I was 5, My mother dressed me like a geisha girl. She made me a black silk Kimono and even went somewhere and bought me

little ruffled socks and black canvas maryjanes. Whenever I was alone in the house I would put on that outfit and it just made me feel special. I even remember being

devastated when the outfit disappeared. That outfit was the my springboard to girdles, hose, heels.

I remeber starting with my mom's pantyhose. When I was around 10 yrs. old. Was hooked ever since. After which when I got alittle older I started by wearing other things. Such as my mom's bra's skirts blouses ect. I remeber when my mom was gone and I went into her bed room and pulled out some drk brwn pantyhose a white bra and a white blouse with a black skirt and some high style mary jane's. I felt so sexy and loved the way I looked in the mirror. Was alot of sneaking wearing my mom's things. Not to much since my sister knew and she didn't mind me wearing her things as long as I didn't ruin them. Later on like a few years later when my sis went off to college is when my mom found out I was wearing her clothes and threw a whole day process of her thinking about it and me thinking I was going to be on forever and an eternity punishment. My mom gave me some of her things and took me shopping that weekend for some fem stuff of my own.

I remember wanting to be a girl from the time I was a toddler. I started wearing my mum's tights from the age of twelve, I first wore them under my school football shorts to make them look like the hotpants that girl dancers wore on tv. I then progressed to some skirts by about 12 or 13. It was very frustrating being in school and being so envious of the girls who wore tights with their school socks and talked about the clothes they wore outside school. I wish I could have be just like them.

When I was about 14 I saw some girls talking about David Cassidy on tv, they were all dressed in lovely skirts and tights

I man aged to start buying my own tights at the age of 21, whein I gained the confidence I would go to all the department stores in my home city and buy loads of tights of different colurs I adored black opaque and my all time favourite is the now defunct bitter chocolate. I secretly hoped that the assistants thought they were for me I think some did one store got to know me and give me funny looks.

These days I dress when I can, buy my wardrobe isnt huge. My wife caught me wearing a top a skirt and some nude tights it was liiberating but she was not happy and wont discuss it again. But I would like to ask her if I can buy some more stuff like dresses and skirts and my beloved tights/.

My wife was surprisingly understanding so I may work on her, but I know how she feels about crossdressing.

About 6 months ago I was home alone... and on a whim I went and tried on some of my wife's bathing suits and undies. I couldn't believe how erotic it felt... I have been hooked ever since, and have started my own secret wardrobe.

I have explored a lot of fetishes in my life, and I am surprised I was 40 before I discovered crossdressing.

The earliest was not dressing as all but probably just playing in the closet, hide n seek etc, 4 yr old stuff. I had curiosity on why those clothes were different. Earliest would have been vague memories plopping on heels at 5. I don't consider that CD but then again, here I am now. I would put my age around 8 when I actively sought to wear girl clothes, I wound up closeted before ten, I don't remember the exact date, just the event that caused it.

My very first memory was about age 3 or 4. I was in my mothers closet and put on one of her nightgowns. I remember it so clearly, it was yellow nylon and I felt so pretty in it. My mom saw me and hit the roof. Yelled atme for a long time then spanked me and told me never to do that again.

Then when I was about 7 or 8 my older sister and I were on a swim team. That's when I started taking long showers. I go in the bathroom where my sisters one piece nylon swim suit was. I'd put that on tuck my man part and prance in front of the mirror.

At puberty I started wearing my moms nightgowns and it was sexual if you know what I mean. Around 13 I started going all out wig slip bra dress heels and make-up. Of course only while home alone. Once I was all dolled up strutting though the house, when I heard my dad walk in the door. I ran to my room pulling off articals of clothing as I ran. Thats when I found out DO NOT wear a dress that zips up the back if you may need to get out of it quickly. Some how I got everything off including make-up before my dad walked in my room to see if I was OK. A little while later my da went out to see the horses, that was my chance to put all my moms clothes back in the closet.

After I was 17 I moved out bought nightgowns at second hand stores. Perged and bought purged and bought tell I was 52. Then I ment what is now my wife. She was the first person I ever told I was a CD, crying the whole time. She said that it's OK, and the first time we slept together she brought me one of her nightgowns. Since then we got married, she goes with me on shopping trips. I love her and she loves me. It's great to be me!

Love all you girls out there,

Tina

Around 5 years old, I remember putting on my sisters black tights and ballet slippers. I used to line up all of my sisters shoes and try them on At puberty I started a collection of tights, leotards all things ballet. Fast foward about 30 years when the kids were grown and out of the house, started dressing completely and trying to pass with pretty good results. Started going to support groups, the more I came out the more the marriage went down the tubes, for this and many other reasons..

Always liked feeling the materials on womens clothes from early childhood. Started investigating and wearing what I could find around the house around 12 and soon acqired a collection of things from girls I liked, girlfriends, stores... Remember walking around in Jr. High with panties on. Now my lingerie drawer is suffed with far more than my wife's.

I didn't have any inclinations to wear women's clothes when I was younger. Certainly I wasn't the most masculine boy growing up, but you could have called that bookish or nerdy. It was.

So while I didn't really identify as a boy or man, I didn't ever have any feeling that I was a woman. I was attracted to women but didn't really feel gendered myself.

But ... I was kinky, and did have a submissive streak that I discovered. That's not why I crossdress. But it did lead me to date a woman that enjoyed gender play, and had me wear lingere during sex. Ok, so that was great fun, but the fun was mostly about the submission than the clothes, or so I thought. That relationship ended when that woman left the state.

Then Halloween came around, and I was invited to a costume party. I pondered what to be and decided to try dressing as a woman. I got some help, from a friend that was in the "Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence" who gave me a wig and from friends who loaned me clothes.

Wow, that was a party! So many people complimented me on my look. Usually, I don't get much attention. I'm bookish, and quiet. Few people pay any attention to my body. I grew up short, nonathletic and so had a poor body image despite keeping in good shape. So that night, with all the attention and compliments, totally blew my mind. I _liked_ "being" a girl. I wanted to do that more.

So I looked for more parties that I could use as an opportunity to "dress up". And while not as extreme as before, I still got a lot of positive attention that I adored.

So here I am today. I'm looking to take this a little bit further. I've gone out, on two dates and a couple of outings with girl friends. I've mostly gone to places in the Capitol Hill district of Seattle, which is extremely LGBT friendly. I'm enjoying finding more about myself this way and want to continue.

thanks for listening

My lifelong fever started when I discovered some worn out mom's stockings in a sort of great Aladdin's cave that was my playing room. They had a long seam on the back and the classic cuban heels of these years. I was a shy, skinny and lonesome child of less than eight and tried (they were so sweet and silky) to put them on: too long and large for me but a great wonderful rising tide of all my senses flooded me in an instant, my feminine ego blossomed for the first time.....Seamless' and panties followed in the years but the lace tops with garters are my best loved. Must admit that nude-look panties, charcoal color, are so comfortable under my jeans!

4 months ago I was walking around quite bored in a lingerie store with my ex GG GF where she was sort of shopping around for panties, etc. when i suddenly felt a strong desire that i should come back to this store alone and buy my size panties...

I did it next day. Then the following 14 days or so i was shopping like crazy, buying all sorts of clothes, dresses, underwear, necklaces, earrings, etc.

One week ago i went to a professional make-up specialist and i spent 5 hours with her when she made my professional make-up and tried some sets of clothes ihave bought recently. When i first time looked into the mirror with my make-up and my dress and high heels on - i felt so much relaxed. The make-up lady sent me a text message 1 hour after we left this place (where the "make-up party" took place) saying : "you are a gorgeous, pretty girl" ----

I was so happy.

I think it was after I came out of the bath wrapped in a towel, I saw my mom put her pantyhose on. I thought it would be fun to put them on too, so I did and then pranced around the room. By the time my mom noticed I wasn't goofing around naked but in her pantyhose, she told me to take them off. Don't think she was mad, but I remember I liked the way it felt. I was 4 or 5 years old

I had been ' sampling ' bits and pieces of my mothers clothes since I was around 13 years of age but it was not until I was 16 that I first fully dressed. I had retrieved several items of clothing that my mother had been going to send to the church sale .

It was in 1968 that Faye emerged, wearing a navy and white skirt suit , nylons , blouse and heels . I can still recall the sensation of walking the 100 yards or so to the post box and posted a letter , the return walk almost resulted in the next door neighbours 17 y/o daughter and I coming face to face on the pathway...... fortunatly she crossed the road unaware that the other girl was me.

I have never forgotten that first step into the real world.

Faye

Them's fighting words, but I intend to discuss this respectfully, calmly and so forth, in accordance with the forum rules.   Considering the one issue below in isolation:   There is a political calculus that trans folk may be better off under Trump than under Biden.  The argument goes that Biden has created such a backlash by moving so far to the left that red states, in particular, are reacting with a swarm of laws that negatively impact trans folk.  Some of his actions strike many people as clumsily forcing unwanted regulation on people, and some of his appointments, such as the luggage stealing bigender individual, have not helped advance trans folk but rather the reverse.  In a second term Biden would make things worse for trans folk because of the backlash and resentment his policies would create.    Trump likely would have negative impacts to trans folk, as he did in his first term with respect to the military, so it is a set of tradeoffs as to which is worse.   Thoughts?

      Can you dress androgynously?

There are trans folk who pass better than some cis people.  People usually aren't on the lookout for those who are cross dressed.  As long as there are no multiple screaming signals and you don't draw attention to yourself you can probably pass better than you think. For example, if you walk into a bank in heels, however, and you DON'T know how to walk in heels, you will attract the attention of a security guard, especially if you are acting nervous. If you wear flats and just go to the bank and do your business like anyone else, it is likely no one will notice, except that there was a customer who was taller than most women are, but then there are tall women, and tall, broad shouldered woman.  I made the mistake years ago of thinking I had outed such, and knew she was a he.  Later I learned she had five kids, and her husband was bigger than she was.  Ooops.

I don't know much about CNAs.  They report to an RN, right?  Can you somehow bring this up to the RN in a way that does not get your CNA mad at you? I'm not saying you should, but maybe that is a good course of action.
    • Abigail Genevieve
This is the thing.  A month ago tomorrow is when I stopped wearing m clothing.  Today I feel great.  I do not have dysphoria when I am dressed as and I move as a woman.  I was just thinking about that because I was wondering if I would or will get hit with a wave of "you don't have dysphoria so you might as well dress like a guy. Less hassle with your wife."  Not that she is aware, to my knowledge, that these androgynous clothes are women's.  No desire to "flip", no feeling of need to, just happy identifying as female.  Speaking, in my deep guy voice, with female voice patterns, doing the feminine gestures that come naturally and without exaggeration and at peace.
    • Birdie
Yes, my brother was born lactating due to absorbing hormones from my mum.    Of course she isn't a nurse, she is a CNA. She should however still have general medical knowledge.
    • Abigail Genevieve
I agree.  But sometimes unethical conduct must still be legal, because the cure would be worse than the disease.  One problem we have today with the internet is the trolls can gang up on someone and destroy them - we see the with school bullying as well.   He was in the Southern Baptist Convention, and maybe he should have moved his church over to say the American Baptists, who might have been able to help him. A Southern Baptist pastor is king in his church, peerless, which means he could not have gone for help in his church.  And he could not have gone for help from any other pastor in the SBC because they likely affirm the SBC statements on these matters.  I think he was stuck.    I read this when it came out in the news.  Very sad situation.

One organization that I know of that is dedicated to assisting LGBT seniors is SAGE.  They advocate for, and have services for, all LGBT folks, not just trans folk.  You can find their website Here.  I am not sure what, if anything, they have in terms of financial assistance.  I'll let you know if I find anything else.   Carolyn Marie

This was an angle that I was very suspicious of as well, and may be the hook on which the settlement was hung.      Not at all strange especially if they had former patients who moved there that still owed money on their bills or they were buying hospital supplies from a Texas corporation. They may have business licenses in other states as well.  Small loss, but saxeT shot itself in the foot there since the license was a source of income to the state.
    • RaineOnYourParade
Nah it's fine, I'm past the point of really blaming them most of the time. I've gotten used to it, and they could be a whole lot worse.   I'm glad you have a good place, though <3

I wonder about the professional knowledge level here.  Men have milk ducts.  She, as a nurse, should know this.  This is interesting  https://www.livescience.com/45732-can-men-lactate.html  Yes, men can lactate and have lactated, trans or cis.  The idea that Birdie does not have milk ducts or tissue is just plain wrong.  Her statement indicates that she has not looked at the medical record, which she should be familiar with to treat the patient.
    • Ivy
Trans women can lactate under the right conditions. But that's not even the case in your situation.  It's so stupid how they simply refuse to accept your reality.
