Hi everyone.

As I recently signed up here for the first time, I thought I'd introduce myself.

My name is Natalie, I'm 19y old and I live in the cheesy part of Europe... No I'm neither French nor English.

I guess what you as fellow interwebsters of the trans* sort would want to know is:

That I am mtf trans*, I outed myself about 2 years ago (or 7y but my parents were busy divorcing)

I started living fulltime last August but stopped after having depressions from dysphoria after 6 months.

Last May my doctor (finally) gave me the ok for HRT and I started mid June. About 8 Weeks since.

Right now, I am probably the happiest person on earth, seeing how my body is changing. And I want to go back living fulltime this month.

What am I doing on this Forum?

I guess trying to find people to conversate about trans* themed stuff without annyoing them, or disgust them. And maybe make some new friends, dunno.

In my spare time... (which I got loads of due to me dropping out of high school 2 years ago and not having a job)

... I play guitar and bass since July (omgnirvanaisgodlike), I tumble? on my blog (link) and I go out and take pictures of things I like. (doesn't sound creepy at all)

Also I write alot, and maybe a bit to much for an introduction. But I just felt like it, so nevermind and just read the stuff that isn't italic.

I am happy to have found this place, and I hope to educate myself and have nice conversations.

i noticed the Nirvana quote to begin with, i was a big fan of theirs back when, still am, i guess but mosty of kurt himself of course.

he had alot of trans-verses in his songs.

i also play gtr and bass, and drums a little, but not much these days for the drums since i live in an apartment.

one of the reasons I really love Kurt are his texts, you can identify with them and everyone can interpret them differently.

Also, pictures with Kurt in drag are the only ones where he always smiles^^

Nirvana was the reason why I started playing, and I hope I'll get good at it someday (atleast nirvana songs aren't too difficult to play)

good to hear someone else still listens to them.

Hi Natalie,

I am a fellow musician, trumpet is my main instrument although I did tour Europe playing bass in an orchestra when I was about your age - about a thousand years ago.

I share many of your interests including photography and writing - I wish that I had started my transition at 19 instead of 58 but we all do what we must.

I am so glad that you have found us and have decided to join in - this place is amazing with everyone helping each other.

Too bad we don't live in the same country, though.

That's quite a difference in age, and I once wished to have started earlier.

But I guess I really should start to appreciate it more, maybe in a few months.
