song of mine: "I Can't Reach You"

another song of mine. I wrote it a long time ago.. this was just me and an accoustic guitar for a long time, but then i put more instrumentation on it when i stuck it on my demo in 1995, so thats the official copyright date.

It might not seem very "transy" but it is in alot of ways. Its very much about me. This was written pre-op, when i thought i'd never be able to transition, at the rate things were going.

I just can't get

why I forget.

who just never knows

where my mind goes.

here's another one of those songs I wrote, this one was later from a CD i'd recorded back in the 90's. I wrote it shorty after my top-surgery was done, so it makes reference to it in there. couldnt think of a title for it for a long time, then a freind suggested this.

I sound sort of a mix of insecure and conceited at the same time in these lyrics, but really I was just chicken. You know how it is.

this thing is just a poem, not a song. Its kinda mushy. i was looking for a certain poem to post but i saw this and i'd almost forgotten all about it. i wrote it in 2010. a few people saw it, said it was stupid. But I think its not so bad, its just different is all.

This gift is for your senses, for God is a divine artist.

i remember i worked on that and wanted that sent with some flowers, but they only give you so many spaces to put something into a card, so Happy Brthday was about all that fit! lol
