more mush (that is what we call poetry sometimes)

i wrote these in 2001.

here is how ya feel when you dont tell them how you feel:

When I lay in bed, I think of you;

Thoughts bounce in my head, things that I should do.

Did I tell you that I always think of you?

Did I say that I hold you so dear?

Did I ever say..

how you always take my breath away,

and bring a smile to my heart

even though we're far apart?

I have been too afraid to dream,

too ashamed to love.

and since that was short, another one similar to it:

Thinking to Her (You) (i think thats the title)

I constantly have these inner dialogs with you inside my brain

Thinking of words for you that would decipher and explain

I long for you all through my days and nights

I feel the lowest lows, and the highest heights

Such a sadness so deep within I cannot show

And still, I feel my heart rejoice

at the promise of the sound of your voice

I reach out my hand to touch the untouchable

and I always feel, what no one else ever seems to be able to feel

I feel such intense immense love, yet I am so unlovable

Like a ghost or shadow who is unreal.

and this one, from the same time period:

As I Watched the Sun Rise

As I watched the sunrise

I felt the sky breathe

even deep within me

and I was part of you.

and this, these were writen on the same day I think.

Untitled… 7/12/2001 (thinking) this one was a song, i have it on tape.

Guess I don’t know just what is real

All I know is how I feel

deep down inside

I 'm someone else

deep down inside

I am myself

I never say or at least convey

all the thoughts I have each day

Words bounce inside

inside my head

But there they hide

and I say something else instead

And I don't know why...

I am always so afraid.

This topic reminds me of the lyrics to the Beatles song, "A Little Help From My Friends."   "What do you see when you turn out the lights?"   "I can't tell you but I know it's mine."   Carolyn Marie

@Ivy have you read the actual document?   Has anyone else out there read it?
    • Abigail Genevieve
I am reading the Project 2025 document https://www.project2025.org/policy/   This will take some time.  I read the forward and I want to read it again later.   I read some criticism of it outside here and I will be looking for it in the light of what has been posted here and there.  Some of the criticism is bosh.   @MaeBe have you read the actual document?

      *older, not holder, oops :P
    • Abigail Genevieve
      No problem!

Old topic, but I gotta say my favorites are: "Stop hitting on minors" (doesn't work if you're holder tho) and "Sure as [squid] not you"

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Congratulations Lorelei! Yes, it is a powerful feeling to have the documents that say "you are you".

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).

      I think I lost a friend :(

I will have arrived when I have a b*tch certificate of my own.  I think someone called me one once.

That’s fantastic Lorelei. I’m so happy for you.   Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
