Where Does the Time Go

Id have to look to find the copyright date, but i wrote it when i was a teen, about age 16 or 17.

its just a short poem, not a song. most of my poems end up being songs but this never made it. just couldnt get a feel for music for it, the rhythm isnt very musical. i actually liked this one for a while.

Where Does the Time Go

Where does the time go when you are near?

Time itself seems to disappear.

Haunted by a sparkle that reflected in your eyes

Seemed to hold me captive,

lost in time, ....mesmerized.

Reality and imagination unite when you are here

Images of a dream become so clear.

Transfixed by your grace .. and your lovely face

dazzled by your charm

In the cold, it keeps me warm...
