I have questions about my voice, but in regards to passing as a guy. I was just wondering if I could post those questions here or if it really is only for passing women voices

she was saying that she has a male voice that she does not like and would like to change since her male voice is like her male body, meaning she would like both to change to match her gender identity .

it seemed to me they were saying they were trying to develop a masculine voice ... considering Sasha is a unisex name and they identify as crossdresser they could be going from a girl voice to a guy voice. Idk though... Sasha could you clarify that for us? Either way you are more than welcome to ask questions and post your results, this forum is open to everyone for a reason :)

There have a been a few guys who have done some voice passing posts in here, largely though they let Testosterone do the work, but for those who don't plan on T, it's a little different. :P It's largely dominated by girls since Oestrogen does not undo what T does to the vocal chords.

Long story short, you're more than welcome to post questions, audios and others about developing a guy's voice.

As a footnote, my endocrinologist, who has been handling MtF transsexuals since 1975 told me that estrogen won't fix your voice but it may raise the upper range you can reach a bit, making achieving a female voice a little easier (but still requiring work or surgery or both).

like said before this forum is mostly for trans women and and mtf crossdressers because hrt does not change ones voice and crossdressers need help making their voices sound female when out so they cant be found out about being a cd instead of a female. male hormones for trans men can change their voices and when it does not they really dont care about how it sounds. one time i was on youtube i watched a video by a trans man and when he talked he sounded like what people think girls should sound like and it didnt seem to bother him.

Ah ok...

So yeah, my questions:

Basically, I don't have a super feminine voice regularly... Unless I'm talking to someone I don't know. Then my voice automatically gets more feminine and bubbly. And as much as I've tried, I can never get my voice to sound like a guy at all. I can't get it deeper and if I try to I just end up sounding like an extremely feminine gay guy lol. But yeah... Do you have any tips to help me? Cause that would be great!

hmm you could watch some videos on MTF voice training and do the opposite of those techniques. The big difference is women speak with a different part of their voice box (upper, smaller part... men use the lower larger part). When you speak in a guy voice you use your diaphragm more and should actually feel it resonating in your chest.

      No problem!

Old topic, but I gotta say my favorites are: "Stop hitting on minors" (doesn't work if you're holder tho) and "Sure as [squid] not you"

Abigail, I think we will just leave the other posts where they are, and the discussion can start anew here.  It is possible to do what you ask, but would disrupt the flow of the discussion in the other thread, and would require more work than it's worth.   Carolyn Marie

I am in too good a mood to earn my certificate today. I am sure something will happen that will put me on the path to earning it.

It's likely most cis-women consider a fitting unnecessary "because they know what  they wear" and get used to the wrong size.  The instructions for what your size is are simple and why go to any further effort?  You measure your bandsize and you measure your max and subtract the two to get the needed info for the cup size.  Then you buy the same size for years until it hurts or something.

Congratulations Lorelei! Yes, it is a powerful feeling to have the documents that say "you are you".

Here is space for discussion on this, since the topic is large and could derail another thread SOMEBODY started.   Could some dear, sweet, kind Moderator pull everything related to this from the Voting for Trump thread and put it here?  I don't know if you can do that; I am the new girl on the block after all (blinks sweetly).

Good morning everyone,   It’s Thursday well as least I took my Thursday Medications as sorted out in my weekly dispensary caddy. Today’s coffee is Folgers Breakfast Blend served HOT, black and strong. My wife and I are going to explore the Western and Southern coasts of Saginaw Bay and hang out in Bay City, MI. today.    @Willowonce @Abigail Genevievepointed out the word usage in your post. I read it and laughed, enjoying the snarky tone of the comment. Since it was spelled correctly I thought maybe you meant for it to read just as you typed it. Then the kinder gentler me thought it would be better if I changed it. I’m not saying I corrected it, I just changed the severity of the sentence.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
