Stephanie, she's beautiful

Her face soft, her lips full

There she stands, tall and proud

Her voice lovely, it resounds

"I've got a secret, kept safe

No on knows its true fate

To remain hidden, away

In my body will it lay?

Or will my secret get out?

Spoke of oft, all about"

She stands alone, in glory

No one knows her true story

She has such nice supple breasts

Better, more shapely than the rest

I bid her speak, yet again

She can speak only one refrain

"I've got a secret, kept safe

No on knows its true fate

To remain hidden, away

In my body will it lay?

Or will my secret get out?

Spoke of oft, all about"

Her tacit eyes, unmoving

Soft and kind, reassuring

Oh so sure of who she is

Not a mister, but a miss

She is so lucky, just to know

So strong, yet thoughtful and lo

I ask her speak what she says

She offers low, her sweet phrase

"I've got a secret, kept safe

No on knows its true fate

To remain hidden, away

In my body will it lay?

Or will my secret get out?

Spoke of oft, all about"

Her skin is soft, so lovely

She reaches out, as if to touch me

'I caress her bronze skin

As lovely is he within?

I realize then, my true name

Our names are the very same

I am her and she is me

My true name is Stephanie

We have a secret, kept safe

Yes, now we know its true fate

No longer hidden, away

I will just come out and say

I am her and she is me

Hi, my name is Stephanie

I wrote that when I first realized my name, I was so happy

I wrote this next one in anguish of not coming out, It's title is 'the closet'

Here I sit, in my closet

Coming out is not an option,

My parents, cannot understand

They think that I was born a man

Coming out is too hard, I'll bet

Stephanie,

I love the first one - big surprise I'm so into uplifting things!

The second doesn't move me nearly as much, partialy because it is a bit down - no mostly because it is a bit down, When I read something that is down I need to fall into a pit and this was more like stepping off of a curb. ;)

Back to the one I loved - you are so good at expressing happiness and the calm that goes with self realization - it lifts me up to read it, which is the goal of uplifting poetry - mission accomplished! :D

Keep it up - very nice.

Love ya,

Sally

This one has my views on gender

Gender

What does gender really mean?

It's not clear-cut black and white

Nor even red, blue, or green

Finding yours could be a fight

MTF, FTM hah

THey are just gender benders

Rebels from the gender law

there cannot be just four genders

We must keep on our good search

T find gender, forget

about temple, even church

Our guards down, we need to let

Everyone is not one kind

The rules, destroyed, we're benders

When you look down deep, delve to find

that everyone is many genders

Wow,

You have set yourself quite a task, asking getting people to believe that there can be more than two genders!

That is why in Photography and any field that deals in graphics we have a different term for what most people call Black and White, it is a gray scale!

Black and white is either every color or no color, it should be refered to as black or white, while gray scale takes in every shade in between.

So does that make trasngendered a gray (scale) area?

I love your poetry, keep writing, keep thinking and above all, keep feeling!

Love ya,

Sally
