I'm Not Alone

There have been days

Were the light never came

Were darkness filled every thought

So many cold dark days

But the sun has come to play

For once there is hope

Maybe I’ll be okay

For now I’m just going to smile

Cause for now it is alright

I’m me, cant change that

I’ve made mistakes

I’ve got my scars

Could let them haunt me

Instead they serve a purpose

A reminded of what can happen

That day I tried to end it all

That day I wanted to say goodbye

Now looking back I know

I’ll be okay

I’m not alone

No matter how it may seem

I am never alone

For there is always someone

Someone who will hold my hand

to lead me towards the light

To be our saving grace

The dark days have bid farewell

They’ll be back

But at least I’m not alone.
