Only one round of laser hair removal?

So it's been about 2 weeks and every time I look in the mirror I see little to no hair on my upper lip or chin! Will this be permanent

or do I still have to go for more sessions?

Everyone is different so I wouldn't try to answer for you. You'll have to decide if your hair removal or reduction is enough.

Hairs develop in different waves. You will have new follicles develop and repopulate your face. Complete elimination of the current crop is an excellent result.

You might see more hair grow when the next cycle comes in. Only time will tell.

I agree with the others, hon. I was also told that facial hair grows in cycles, and that it takes at least a few months to get them all. Whether it is permanent or not only time will tell. I got my LHR done two years ago, and have not seen any increase in hair growth. But it did not remove all my hair. I still have a fair amount of fine white hair, but it doesn't bother me, and I have no beard shadow still, even after 24 hours.

This may be in the cards for me so i hope your hairs don't come back. I'm not looking forward to the process and have a consult in May.

From my experience, I have noticed that after the 10 - 14 Day mark after a LHR treatment, I had had little to no dark hairs growing on my face. I only had to shave every 2-3 days but that was mostly just my chin and jaw line, where I have some lighter colored hair. The period of no to little growth lasts about 10 - 14 days before the next cycle of growth begins.

I've had similar experience, only one session so far but after about a week and a half I started to notice the difference. Not as much hair reduction as you describe, Spring but still I was actually amazed. there are a few clear patches and I love rubbing them to feel how smooth they are in the midst of remaining stubble. The right side of my face was best, I never had much beard there and the laser knocked it right down to the very jaw line, I can totally notice if i don't shave a couple of days because the remaining isolated white hairs now stand out a mile! Don't know if anyone else noticed but they haven't said anything if they have. Anyway, hope you continue to get such great results it'll sure save a lot of money
